تناول هذا البحث ثقافة الداعية وإلمامه ببعض العلوم الإنسانية- كمبادئ علم النفس مثلاً- وأثر ذلك على توصيل رسالته وتحقيق أهدافه، كما ناقش أهمية العمل الدعوي ودوره في صلاح المجتمع، متمثلا ذلك في عدة الداعية وشخصيته وتكوينه الثقافي والمعرفي، كما ناقش أهم الأساليب التربوية وأعظمها وقعًا في نفوس المدعوين، كما تطرق لنوع وكيفية العلاقة المطلوبة بين الداعية والمدعو وبين الدعاة أنفسهم وبين الداعية والمجتمع بمختلف تنوعه، موضحاً أفضل النماذج لمثل هذه العلاقات بهدف توضيح سبل وآلية رفع مستوى الخطاب الدعوي، متبعا المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. وقد توصل هذا البحث إلى مجموعة من النتائج من أهمها: 1. أعظم الدعاة نفعًا وأشدهم أثرًا هم الذين يستخدمون أسلوب القدوة وأسلوب الترغيب والترهيب. 2. نجاح العمل الدعوي مرهون بمكونات الداعية وشخصيته وثقافته التربوية والنفسية. 3. التربية وعلم النفس من المطلوبات المكملة لعلم وعمل الداعية في الوقت الراهن. 4. كل ما ابتعد الداعية عن المنافع الشخصية عظم في نفوس الناس، وقبلوا ما يقول. ومما يوصي به الباحث في هذا البحث الاهتمام بأمر الدعاة وتأهيلهم تربويا وثقافيا وعلميا. وذلك من خلال إنشاء مؤسسات تعدهم وفق هذه المواصفات. كفالة الدعاة ودعمهم حتى لئلا يحتاجوا لمد أيديهم فيصغروا في نظر الناس ويذهب نفع ما يقولون مع ذهاب ماء الوجه.
