المستخلص: The present study is an attempt to explore the Islamic financial engineering referring to its theory and practices The main aim of the study is to ask for more from Islamic jurisprudence and to the renewal of Sharia in order to call people to sue one another according to its teachings It also aims at emphasizing the resumption of Islamic life at the individual and formal level to get rid of the present financial system which is built upon economic thought that depends on usury . The importance of the study lies in that it will provide a significant contribution to research as for as the financial transactions and their application in Islamic banks are concerned in order to meet the needs of Muslims who seek for legitimate wealth so, they find legitimate alternative in carrying out trade. the study is composed of an introduction, four chapters and a concluding section . The introduction shows importance of the topic the reason behind its choice, the method adopted and the lay out of the research Chapter one present the traditional and Islamic financial engineering with reference to the origin of each one, the bases of the Islamic financial engineering and the role of financial engineering in achieving its aims . In addition ,it shows the role of Islamic financial engineering in establishing the Islamic financial market. Chapter two is devoted to give an idea about the Islamic banks , their aims ,beginning, features and framework . Chapter three demon stratus some samples of legitimate contracts that organize Islamic banks such as : speculation, partnership, forward buying , custom ,order ,and sharecropping. It also shows the contemporary practices of these contracts in Islamic banks. Chapter four shows the future of Islamic exchange through some central notions such as: the international financial crisis and the role of Islamic exchange in its remedy , the relationship between the central bank and the Islamic bank, the role of the Islamic banks in carrying out the social and economic development and its role in collecting alms and distributing it according to its legitimate outlets. Finally , the chapter shows the importance of the Islamic financial integration and the most important institutions of infrastructure that are related to the international financial crisis.
