المستخلص: This study named ( The Spacial Differention of Phenonmenon of the Unemployment in Governorate of slahaddin ) dealt with the serious problem that the region of the study and all Iraqi Governorates involved . It is not peculiar that the interest of the geographers take side with the sociologyists , economists , politicians and demographers in studying this problem being have various forms and complicated , grave dimentions where it affected on the individual , family and society, throwing results Li;e poverty , un fastened families , crime , toyication and terrorism . So this study is to know the ( size ) and rates of the Unemployment in Governorate of slahaddin during 1987 – 2009 and its geographical distribution according to the administrative Unit at level ( County ) and according to the species and environment to explain the causes of its increases in all regrons of the governorate and its admimistrative units , as well as causes of the special differentiation the classification of the information in this problem is faller under two methods ; standard degree and logarithmic transformation and use of program ( ARC GIS9 ) to present the data in cartographical manner , as well as studding the affected elements on it and explaining the special relation with the problem of the study by using the statistical quantity methods . This study has suggested a differentiation in the ratios of the Salahaddin Governorate according to the species and the environment , but in low ratios for 1987. In 1997 The ratios are increased for the males and decreased females rather than the previous year , but in 2009 , the ratios of the unemployment have increased in the reging of the study to be in high rate in some of the administrative units. This is due to group of principal elements ; political , demographis and social causes leading to emerge this phenomenon . The economical element is the most effect among these elements being represented by the weaking of the economical activity and smallness of the works opportunities , accompanied with closing some of the industrial factories or stopping theirs productive lines . These things are affected negatirely on the aggravating ratios of the unemployment in addition to the negligence the agricultural sector and immigration of farmers to cities . This is added a new number of unemployed workers , besides , the interference of groupe of the lateral elements contributed in increase of the unemploying ratios in the governorate . There fore , this study is to focus on the special differentiatation of the ratios of the unemployment and their geographical distribution with mentioning the principal and lateral causes that affected on , as well as the mention of the special relation among these ratios ; The study is included the following chapters : The first chapter is specialized to study the theorical cadre and geographical characteristics of the studding region ; natural and human.

The second chapter consisted of the spacial differentiation of the activitizing popular size in the economical domain and the average of the economical activity according to the adminis trative unit ( county ) and( environment)in the region of study for(1987_2009). The third chapter highlighted the spacial differentiation of the unemployed workers according to the administrative unit ( county ) and the species and the environment for (1987_2009) as well as the special transformation of the above mentioned duration . The fourth chapter treated with exclusive the causes of the unemployment and the elements affecting on the studying region for (2009) as well as studding statistically the special relation among them The study is concluded with group of the recommendations and inferences that we hope to take into account in part of the makers' decision to diminish the impact of this problem that made the family unfastened and the society decayed.
