|a Our study objective in this study to determine the effect of waste water for North oil refineries company-Biagy camps in some lower plants species in waste water canal(norri canal) and in Tigris river and their wetlands for one year from February2011 to February 2012, First station located in wastewater at the canal begging, second station in the middle of the canal respectively in Albugewary village, third station in canal estuary in Tigris river and fourth station in Tigris river on Tikrit city which is located about 45km in the south of wastewater canal. The results showed mine temperature of Tigris river in the station fourth 18.7030c was lower in all months than wastewater mine temperature in the first station 23.4190c and second station 23.2750c and river water turbidity affected by wastewater which is mine values in station fourth 724.971NTU higher than third station 597.360NTU because its content of suspended solids(mine values in first station 31.150mg/l) and dissolved solid(mine values in first station 2.818mg/l). wastewater alkalinity(pH mine values in first station 7.716) increase Tigris river alkalinity(third station mine values 7.645 and fourth station 7.805) because bicarbonate ions concentrations which recorded mine values 539.07mg/l in third station and 586.375mg/l in the fourth station which is differ significantly from other stations alkalinity according to ANOVA and Duncan tests. Wastewater increase Tigris river salinity from estuary station 0.12-0.88g/l compare with station fourth values 0.06-0.22g/l because the high quantity of residue in the first station which was recording high values 0.29-0.53g/l respectively EC. Values acceptant with salinity by recorded high values in first station 530-1280µs/cm which was affecting in the third station values 250-1620µs/cm. Dissolved oxygen saturation recorded lower values 4.8-129% in the first station and its high values in station fourth Tigris river 19.4-166% therefore the mine 3.526mg/l of dissolved oxygen values decreased in the first station and second station 4.296mg/l compare with dissolved oxygen mine concentrations in the Tigris river in station third 6.242mg/l and station fourth 6.13mg/l which was effected in BOD5 values in the first station 0.12-9.13mg/l and second station 0.11-11.9mg/l and recorded high COD values in the first station 18-108mg/l and secondary station 15.4-107mg/l compare with lower values in stations fourth(BOD5 values 0.2-6.46mg/l and COD values 4.5-26.5 mg/l) and third station(BOD5 values 1-9.83mg/l and COD values 4.5-68mg/l).

Anions recorded high values in third station(mine chloride values 305.714mg/l and sulphates 768.416mg/l) compare with station fourth(mine chloride values 224.96mg/l and sulphates 429.166mg/l), higher mine values for chloride ions 513.914mg/l and sulphates ions 1336.08mg/l recorded in the secondary station, Cat ions(sodium and potassium) recorded high values in the same station(secondary station) 60.67mg/l and 47.04mg/l and lower concentration for sodium 9.804mg/l; potassium 10.041gm/l in estuary station(station three). Plant nutrient nitrogen and phosphorus recorded high mine values in the first station such as nitrite 4.036µg/l; nitrate 0.986mg/l and phosphate 11.383µg/l. Silicate did not limited diatoms growth in all stations and recorded high concentrations in secondary station 32.816µg/l but toxic heavy metals such as nickel(mine values in the first station o.o57mg/l, second station 0.159mg/l, third station 0.039mg/l and fourth station 0.0266mg/l) iron(mine values in the first station 2.407mg/l, second station 1.106mg/l, third station 0.605mg/l and station fourth 0.768mg/l) vanadium(mine values the first station 0.0195mg/l, second station 0.0216mg/l, third station 0.0275mg/l and station fourth 0.241mg/l) and micronutrients such as copper(mine values in the first station 0.013mg/l, second station 0.02mg/l, third station 0.029mg/l and station fourth 0.0075mg/l) and zinc(mine values in the first station 0.04mg/l, second station 0.0325mg/l, third station 0.0375mg/l and station fourth 0.0625mg/l) limited algae growth and diversity in nwery canal and its estuary by dominated species such as Microcystis aeruginosa in all stations, Spirulina laxissima in secondary and third stations, Oscillatoria tenuis in secondary and fourth stations therefore Cyanophyta dominated 100% in first station and about 63.63% in secondary station with 36.37% Chlorophyta, in third station Cyanophyta recorded 76.47% and Chlorophyta 23.53% and finally in fourth station we recorded more diversity in algal divisions which was recording 47.7% Cyanophyta, 31.5% Chrysophyta-Bacillariophyceae and 21.1% Chlorophyta. Chlamydomonas angulosa the dominated species from other Chlorophyta and Navicula from diatoms. Chlorophylls pigments a, b, c recorded lower concentrations in secondary station 0.0824 mg/m3, 0.0323mg/m3, 0.109mg/m3 respectively rather than other stations but pheophyteins pigments recorded lower concentrations 4.952mg/m3 in the first station; all pigments did not recorded between the stations locally significantly differences but monthly with higher concentrations in November for chlorophylls a; b and in May for chlorophyll c and December for pheophyteins.
|a The large quantity of soil texture in all stations was sand and their moisture was constructed with its content from oil residue, the first station soil was lower moisture mine values 8.625% and higher oil residue mine values 6.21ppm but station fourth soil was higher moisture mine values 15.348% and lower oil residue content mine values 0.022ppm, the secondary and third stations soils recorded 15.778% and 15.696% moisture and 6.171ppm and 5.920ppm oil residue respectively showing increase in oil residue content in Tigris river wetlands about 250% from canal estuary. Organic matter concentrations recorded higher mine values in first station 17.263ppm than station fourth 11.07ppm, station third mine values 6.329ppm and finally secondary station 3.988ppm were lower. |a Adiantum capillus veneris recognized to first time in Salahudeen province in secondary station(Albugewary village) polluted by wastewater of north oil refinery company-Biagy and in fourth station(Tikrit city) growth in the wetland of wastewater canal and Tigris river, mine values of wet weight were closely in secondary station 2.431g to fourth station mine values 2.880g, there had the same shape, anatomical study did not show any differ in aerial parts(leaves, spores and sporangium) and rhizomes and the stomata confidences was very closely in lower epidermis in both stations plants recorded 31.3% in secondary station and 32% in the fourth station, upper epidermis in both stations recorded 5%. The chemical compounds recorded differences in total chlorophyll concentrations, carbohydrates concentrations, total protein percentage, heavy metals accumulation in aerial and rhizome. The higher total chlorophyll mine values 1.625ppm, carbohydrates 19350 µg/g, total protein percentage 37.427% recorded in the secondary station plants similar to most alkaloids compounds concentration)Quanic acid, Kaempfertin, Isoquainoline, Adiantone & Astragalin) and most phenols compounds concentrations(Kaempferol, Ferulic acid, Isoferulic acid, Narinngin, β-phellandrene, OH-adiantone, Leutoline & Coumaric acid) which were recording high values in tension state(in December 2011 with recording COD higher values 107mg/l in secondary station) compare with their concentrations in fourth station plant in the same time and with collected samples from polluted station(secondary station) in September 2011 which was lower tension state because COD lower values 28.9mg/l. The Translocation Factor(TF) and Bioconcentration Factor(BCF) show accumulate zinc and copper in aerial parts and iron and nickel in rhizomes in both stations plants. The differ pollutant tension effected in DAN which were showing different bands with five non-specific primer for polluted and control stations plants.
