المستخلص: This study deals with on important Abdul Hakim, Amir,s Personality, who played political and a military role in Egypt that witnessed the most. Difficult Circumstances. When Abdul Nasir and his companions Revolted Amir was one the famous person. This revolution was followed by many problems, one of that was the trio aggression against Egypt. Amir was the General in chief of the Armed forces, who had the effect in the conducting of the military establishment . In addition to that he was vice- Republic president. The study is divided into five chapters , introduction and conclusion. The first chapter cooers his birth, his civil Career and joining the military college (from 1919 – 1952). The second chapter studies the 1952 Revolution, that he was the director of the General Leader . He was promoted to General leader of the Armed forces. Chapter three studies the General Amir,s role in the political and the military development from 1954 – 1961. His main role was the leader ship of 1956 War. Chapter four talks a bout his attitude a bout the failure of the Unity between Egypt and Syria in 1961. He played important role in solving the problem of colonialism Problem appeared between him and Nasir because of his marriage the artist Berlenty Abdul hameed . Chapter five focuses on 1967 war and Amir,s role Israel destroyed the Egyptian air forces, as a result of that Egypt lost the war because the Israeli sudden attack this war led that General Amir resigned from his position in the army . Then he died in the same year. This study sheds the light on the following : 1- Amir,s role in the organizing of the free officers, movement. The most famous officer was mohamad Najeeb. Amir had effective role in the success of the 1952 Revolution. 2- Amir was surprised by the decision of Nasser in the Nationalization of Al suways Channel, because he was not informed by Nasir,s decision. 3- Amir was against the decision of Nationalization, because as he thought this attempt e anses many problems to Egypt lik 1956 war. 4- Amir,s National trend made him so serious in the achieve ment of the of the Unity he became the vice – Egyptian president and the ruler of the Syrian region southern region caused. 5- Amir was n't traitor, but there was a conflict With Nasir that the loss of the war with Israel. 6- Amir died in not clear circumstances, The historians differed a bout the truth of his death. Some of them assured that he was killed in a conspiracy, made by Nasir and his clip . some of them said that he committed suicide.
