|b Energy problems are considered the most important and most serious problems that face the world today; therefore, the world is investigating different renewable energy resources. Relying on non- depleted renewable resources for providing energy needs for human life is not an easy task; it requires not only technical knowledge, but also development for environmental management methods for such resources and projects. Focusing on solar energy as a non-depleted source of energy, it was proved that concentrating solar power (CSP) techniques are of the best techniques that use solar energy to generate electric power. This paper discusses briefly the different CSP techniques, with developing environmental management methods to be applied on these techniques. Applying principles of environmental management on different CSP techniques is a must, because the aim of environmental management is not only improving the process presently, but also putting future strategies for that process. Accordingly, it is necessary to apply SWOT (strength- weakness- opportunities- threats) analysis in order to put principles of strategic planning for the future of CSP techniques. SWOT analysis allows better planning for long term projects (like CSP projects) to put suitable solutions for any problem in the future and to achieve both strategic and environmental dimensions.
