يعد كتاب "الألغاز النحوية في علم العربية" من الكتب المهمة التي تناولت ما يشوب بعض الكلام في النحو العربي من الغموض، وعلى الرغم من صغر حجمه، فقد تناول فيه الشيخ خالد الأزهري بعض الأشياء التي تفيد الباحث وتكشف الغموض التي قد ترد في الكلام العربي والأبيات الشعرية. إذ نجحنا في الحصول على ما يمكن الحصول عليه من مخطوطات هذا الكتاب من شأنها أن تساعدنا على تحقيق، والذي دفعنا إلى إخراج هذا المخطوط إلى الباحث الكريم، ونتوقع أن ثوبه الجديد هو ما أراد له مؤلفه، فقد أخرجناه في هذه الحلة الجديدة التي تواكب ذوق العصر الذي يميل إلى السهولة والسرعة. ورغبة منا أن يكون لنا شرف المشاركة في إحياء التراث العربي، وإضافة الكتاب إلى المكتبة العربية، سيكون لها بحسب ما نرى أثر في الدراسات النحوية. أما وصف المخطوط بدأ الكتاب بمقدمة تضمنت ترجمة للمؤلف تفيد أسمه ونسبه، وأعماله وفاته، ثم تحدث عن أهمية ومنهجية. وقد بدأت الكتاب بمقدمة تضمنت ترجمة للمؤلف ذكرنا فيها أسمه ونسبه، ومصنفاته ووفاته، ثم تحدثنا عن أهميته ومنهجه. الشيخ خالد الأزهري قال عنه الخوانساري "الحبر الأديب وقدوة أصحاب التقريب صاحب كتاب التركيب من أعاظم أدباء المتأخرين، وأفاهم فضلاء المتبحرين" روضات الجنات 3/ 278 وقال عنه ابن العماد "اكب على العلم وبرع واشغل الناس" شذرات الذهب في إخبار من ذهب 8/ 26 \
