المستخلص: رغم ثراء مكوناتها الطبيعية وتنوع منظوماتها البيئية، لم تحض جزر ارخبيل جالطة (جالطة وجليطة ولافوشال وجزر الكلاب) بدراسة بيوجغرافية. هذه الورقة، محاولة لكشف جوانب من طرافة الغطاء النباتي الأرضي للأرخبيل من خلال عرض دقيق لمختلف اصناف التشكيلات النباتية، كما تسعى إلى تحدد أهم المعوقات البيئية التي تقف وراء تدهور الغطاء النباتي وعدم تجدده في بعض المناطق. اعتمدنا في هذه الدراسة أساسا، على المشاهدة الميدانية المباشرة من خلال معاينات أنجزت خلال شهر أفريل 2007 في مختلف الوحدات المشهدية المكونة للأرخبيل، إضافة إلى الاستفادة من بعض الدراسات الجغرافية والخرائط الطوبوغرافية والجيولوجية.

Despite the richness of its physical components and the diversity of its ecosystems, the Galite archipelago has not yet undergone any biogeographic study. This paper is meant to unveil the originality of the natural heritage inherent to the vegetation of this archipelago. To reach this target, we had to resort first to the identification of the different vegetation units existing in this archipelago, second to the display of their biodiversity aspects, and finally to the presentation of the main ecology constraints. These constraints turn out to be at the origin of the difficulties of the vegetation spontaneous regeneration as well as of other blocking dynamic situations observed in many sectors of the Galite archipelago. In addition to the rich and varied bibliographical references, this paper is also based on the data collected during a field visit to the whole of the Galite archipelago during the month April 2006.

Malgré la richesse de ses composantes physiques et la diversité de ses écosystèmes, l’archipel de la Galite n’a bénéficié jusqu’aujourd’hui d’aucune étude biogéographique. Cette feuille essaye de découvrir quelques aspects de l'originalité de la végétation terrestre de l’archipel de la Galite et ce par l’identification de ces différentes unités végétales, et la présentation des principales contraintes écologiques à l’origine des difficultés de la régénération spontanée de la végétation et des situations de blocage dynamique observées dans plusieurs secteurs dans l’archipel de la Galite. Outre l’exploitation d’une bibliographie variée, cette étude s'est basée sur les données d’une campagne de terrain organisée au cours du mois d’avril 2007 dans l’ensemble de l’archipel de la Galite
