يدرس البحث مواقف المعاصرين حول قضية النسخ في القرآن الكريم، فيؤصل مصطلح النسخ وتطوره عند العلماء المتقدمين، ويبين أهميته وأشهر مباحثه عندهم، ثم يطرح أهم الدوافع التي دعت المعاصرين إلى طرح قضايا النسخ ومناقشتها، مبينا مناهجهم في التصنيف حول موضوع النسخ، سواء في مصنفاتهم حول علوم القرآن، أو تفاسيرهم، أو مقدماتهم لكتب المتقدمين، أو دراساتهم المفردة التي تخصصت في النسخ. ويصل إلى تصنيف مذاهب المعاصرين حول النسخ قبولا وإنكارا مع بسط القول في درجات القبول أو الإنكار ومراتبهما عندهم. موردا حجج كل فريق، ومناقشا إياها. ثم ينتهي البحث إلى تقديم نموذج من دراسات المعاصرين يستعرض أفكاره وأدلته ويناقشها في ضوء الضوابط العلمية وهو كتاب الأستاذ عبد المتعال الجبري (النسخ في الشريعة الإسلامية كما أفهمه)، ثم كتابه الذي يعد مكملا له وهو (لا نسخ في القرآن .. لماذا). ويختتم البحث بمقترحات حول هذه القضية وأسلوب دراستها.
This study examines the attitudes of the contemporary Islamic scholars towards the question of abrogation in the Holy Qur’an. It first etymologically defines the term abrogation/annulment, traces its origins and various stages of development in early Islamic studies and amongst early Islamic scholars, underscores its significance then outlines its major constants and constitutive as those pioneering scholars had conceived of them. Second, it posits the most important motives that prompted modern and contemporary Islamic scholars to study the question of abrogation and publically discuss it. It further shows the taxonomical methodologies of Qura’nic abrogation deployed by these modem scholars, whether in their in various categorisations of the Qur’anic studies, their different interpretations of the Holy Qur’an, the introductions and annotations they have written to early Islamic books on the subject, or in their own original studies of the Qura'nic abrogation. The study also classifies contemporary approaches to Qura’nic abrogation, approving and disapproving, listing and discussing the arguments of each school and showing their various levels of acceptance and/or rejection. Finally, a casestudy of a modern approach is presented in Mr. Abdul Mitaal Aljabri’s book, Abrogation in the Islamic Sharia’ Law as I Understand It, and its sequel, No Abrogation in AL Qur’an... Why? The study outlines and discusses the main ideas and the bulk of evidence presented in both books. The study concludes with further suggestions for ways of approaching the Qura’nic abrogation.
