520		\|b The cultivation of rice has strategic importance in seven different governorates in Iraq. However, the percentage in Najaf Qadissya sur passes 85 % of the total cultivation area and 87 % of the total production of rice in Iraq, we study as one whole region with no admins trational divisions in the district of Kufa, county of Abbassya and Hurriya, district of Abe Sukair, county of Mishkhab, county of Qadissya, Mhennawiya and Salahya, district of Shamiya and Ghammas. The farming processes are conducted in unified coord in ated way from leveling the land and seeding to harvest of the crop, collecting and marketing it within a unified irrigation system.
