هدف المؤتمر إلى كيفية مواجهة الجريمة عن طريق الرياضة. تحت شعار رياضة بلا جريمة. وعقد المؤتمر برعاية سمو الشيخ حمدان بن محمد بن راشد آل مكتوم ولي عهد دبي رئيس المكتب التنفيذي لإمارة دبي رئيس مجلس دبي الرياضي. وشارك به العديد من الخبراء والعلماء والباحثين والقادة الرياضيين العرب والأجانب ومن أشهرهم النجمين العالميين مارادونا وبن جونسون. وافتتح المؤتمر يوم الاثنين الموافق 25 نوفمبر 2013م. وتم عرض 39 بحثا في المؤتمر على مدار 9 جلسات علمية خلال أيام المؤتمر. وأوصى المؤتمر بعدة توصيات منها يتعلق بمجال البحث العلمي مثل تشجيع الباحثين ومراكز البحث العلمي على تناول القضايا والمشكلات المتعلقة بدور الرياضة في مواجهة الجريمة والعمل على نشر وتعميم نتائج هذه الدراسات. ومنها يتعلق بمجال الثقافة والوعي الرياضي مثل تشجيع المؤسسات الإعلامية على بث برامج تثقيفية وتوعوية عبر وسائل الاعلام المختلفة تستهدف نشر الثقافة الرياضية والوعي الرياضي الذي يؤكد قيم اللعب النظيف ونبذ أساليب العنف والتعصب وتشجيع الانتماء بالفرق الوطنية للدولة بشكل عام. ومنها يتصل بتعاطي المنشطات مثل تغليظ العقوبة على متناولي المنشطات بما يشمل اللاعب والمدرب والطبيب والنادي والاتحاد وبما يتناسب مع حجم وطبيعة المتناول. كما تناول توصيات في مجال الإعلام الرياضي مثل التوسع في البرامج التي تستهدف نشر الثقافة الرياضية في مواجهة الجريمة. وتوصيات تتصل بالتعصب وشعب الملاعب ومنها الاستفادة من تجارب الدول المتقدمة في استخدام الأنشطة الرياضية في محاربة الجريمة والانحراف في قطاع الشباب. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018

The aim of the conference was to address the crime confrontation by sport, under the slogan of "Sport without crime". The conference was held under the patronage of the Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Sports Council. It was attended by many experts, scientists, researchers and Arab and foreign sports leaders, most notably Maradona and Ben Johnson. The conference was opened on Monday 25 November 2013. A total of 39 researches were presented during the conference. The conference recommended several recommendations related to the field of scientific research, such as encouraging the researchers and the scientific research centers to address the issues and problems that are related to the role of sport in the confrontation of crime and to disseminate and generalize the results of these studies, including the field of culture and sports awareness, such as encouraging media institutions to broadcast educational and awareness programs through the various media which aimed at spreading the sports culture and sports awareness, which emphasizes the values of fair play, the rejection of methods of violence and intolerance and the promotion of belonging to the national teams of the state in general. The results also addressed doping, such as aggravating the penalty for doping users including the player, coach, doctor, club and the union, in proportion to the amount and nature of the intake. The conference also dealt with recommendations in the field of sports media, such as the expansion of programs which aimed at spreading the sports culture in the face of crime, and recommendations related to intolerance and the people of the stadiums and benefit from the experiences of developed countries in the use of sports activities in the fight against crime and deviation in the youth sector.This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
