استهدف المقال تقديم رؤية عن نتاج الربيع العربي تجاه القضية الفلسطينية. وتمثل مضمون المقال في عدة نقاط وهي التأثير السلبي على القضية الفلسطينية باستخدام الأنظمة الشمولية لها كأداة للسيطرة على شعوبها. كما تناول المقال موقف القيادة الفلسطينية تجاه الربيع العربي وتبين في حرص القيادة الفلسطينية على رغبتها في عدم تكرار مأساة الفلسطينيين في الكويت أثناء حرب الخليج الأولي. وأيضاً عبرت حركة حماس عن عدم رغبتها بالتدخل في الشئون العربية الداخلية وخصوصاً في مصر وسوريا. أما الشعب الفلسطيني فجاء بموقف معاكس عن القيادة الفلسطينية وظهر ذلك في تأييده للثورات العربية لرغبته في التخلص من الأنظمة العربية التي شكلت رمزاً للهزيمة والتبعية للغرب. كما ناقش المقال أوضاع الفلسطينيين في سوريا والعلاقات المصرية الفلسطينية وأيضاً المصالحة الفلسطينية بين حركتي فتح وحماس. ثم تطرق المقال إلى توضيح شكل المفاوضات الفلسطينية الإسرائيلية وموقف إسرائيل إزاء الضعف العربي. وأخيراً أسباب ضعف المقاومة الفلسطينية وحركة المقاومة العربية. واختتم المقال ببعض التوصيات منها ضرورة تفعيل سياسة عربية وفلسطينية في مجابهة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي وسياساته الاستيطانية في الضفة الغربية. والعمل على حل قضية اللاجئين الفلسطينيين ومنع ترحيلهم بسبب الأحداث الجارية في سوريا. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The article aimed to provide a vision of the outcome of the Arab Spring involving the Palestinian cause. The content of the article was represented in several points, namely the negative impact on the Palestinian issue using the totalitarian regimes as a tool to control their people. The article also discussed the position of the Palestinian leadership towards the Arab Spring and showed the Palestinian leadership's keenness on not wanting to repeat the tragedy of the Palestinians in Kuwait during the first Gulf War. Hamas also expressed its unwillingness to interfere in the Arab internal affairs, especially in Egypt and Syria. The Palestinian people however came to the opposite position of the Palestinian leadership. This was reflected in their support for the Arab revolutions for their desire to get rid of the Arab regimes that were a symbol of defeat and subordination to the West. The article discussed as well the situation of the Palestinians in Syria and the Egyptian-Palestinian relations in addition to the Palestinian reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas. Furthermore, the article touched on the format of the Palestinian-Israeli negotiations, Israel's position on the Arab weakness and finally the reasons for the weakness of the Palestinian resistance and the Arab resistance movement. The article concluded with some recommendations, including the necessity of activating Arab and Palestinian policy in confronting the Israeli occupation and its settlement policies in the West Bank, working to resolve the issue of the Palestinian refugees and preventing their deportation because of the current events in Syria.
