المستخلص: هدف المقال الى القاء الضوء على الندوة بعنوان الضرورات والإمكانيات في تجديد الفكر القومي. وتناولت الندوة أهمية تطوير أساليب العمل القومي وتجديد وسائله ومراجعة تجربته بنزاهة وموضوعية. واستعرضت الندوة أن غاية الفكر القومي واحدة وواضحة. كما اشارت الندوة الى أن تجديد الفكر القومي العربي يحتاج إلى ربطه بما يجري حولنا في العالم كله من متغيرات ومستجدات. وناقشت الندوة أن الفكر القومي العربي هو القاعدة الأساسية لانطلاق فكرة المقاومة العربية الواحدة. كما أوضحت الندوة أن تجديد الفكر القومي العربي مرتبط بتطوير الصياغات النظرية والعملية لمشاركة المرأة العربية في الحياة السياسية والاقتصادية والثقافية والاجتماعية. كما توصلت الندوة إلى أن تجديد الفكر القومي العربي يحتاج إلى الاهتمام بالمنظومة التربوية العربية. منهاجاً وإعداداً ومدرسة ومعلماً لتنمي الفكر النقدي عند الطالب. وأشارت الندوة إلى أن هناك مجالات أخرى لتجديد الفكر القومي العربي سيكون النقاش مفتوحاً للتطرق إليها، ولكن يبقى أن الشرط الأساسي لتجديد أي فكر أو مؤسسة، يبقى في الإقرار المستمر بالحاجة إلى التجديد، وفي الإقلاع عن التفكير في أن ما وصلنا إليه من فكر أو عمل هو نهاية المطاف. واختتمت الندوة بأن هناك خطران يهددان الفكر العربي اليوم في آن وهما. خطر الجمود الذي لا يعرف بالوقائع والتطورات. وخطر شيطنة الأفكار والأدوات والرموز المدافعين عن العروبة كهوية جامعة للأمة، وعن التقدم كشرط لمواكبة العصر. والهدف من هذه الشيطنة هو أن يصبح الفكر القومي الوحدوي خارج التداول، فيتم الانقضاض على مجتمعاتنا ودولنا ومؤسساتنا، لتفتيتها وتمزيقها في غياب الرابط الجامع.

The aim of the article is to shed light on the symposium entitled Necessities and Possibilities in Renewing National Thought. The symposium dealt with the importance of developing the national action methods, renewing its means and reviewing its experience with integrity and objectivity. The symposium reviewed that the goal of national thought is one and clear. The seminar also pointed out that the renewal of Arab national thought needs to be linked to what is happening around us in the whole world of changes and developments. In addition, the symposium discussed the Arab national thought is the main base for launching the idea of the Arab resistance, as well as explaining that the renewal of Arab national thought is linked to the development of theoretical and practical formulas for the participation of Arab women in political, economic, cultural and social life. Besides, it concluded that the renewal of the Arab national thought needs to pay attention to the Arab educational system in terms of the curriculum, preparation, school and teacher to develop the critical thinking of the student. Moreover, the symposium pointed out that there are other areas for the renewal of Arab nationalist thought, which the debate will be open to addressing them, but the basic condition for the renewal of any thought or institution remains in the constant recognition of the need for renewal and to stop thinking that the thought or act we have come to is the end. The symposium concluded that there are two dangers threaten the Arab thought today at once, namely, the danger of inertia, which has no knowledge of realities and developments, and the danger of demonization of ideas, tools and symbols defenders of Arabism as an identity that cooperates the nation and the progress as a condition to keep up with the times. The aim of this demonization is to become the unitary national ideology outside of circulation, so as to our societies, states and institutions could be attacked to dismember and disperse them in the absence of a cooperating link.
