تناول هذا البحث بالدراسة واحدة من أهم معضلات العالم الإسلامي وهي الاعتداء على رموزه من خلال سب نبيها محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم والاستهزاء به، فكان من الواجب أن يكون هناك بحث موضوعي يرد ويسدد ويوجه مسار مواجهة هذه التعديات، فجاء هذا البحث موضحا أحد أساليب مواجهة الدعوة في القديم والحديث، مبينا مخالفتها للنظم والمعايير الأخلاقية والذوق الحضاري، وبيان حكمها ليس في التشريع الإسلامي فقط، وإنما في الدساتير والمواثيق الدولية. وقد خلصت الدراسة إلى بيان أساليب الرد في الصدر الأول من الإسلام، وكذلك زمن الصحابة رضي الله عنهم، والعصر الحاضر، منتهية باقتراح خطة حكيمة لصد هذا العدوان.
This paper addresses one of the main problems of the Muslim world, namely the insulting and mocking of the Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.), which may be viewed as acts of aggression directed at Islam through its symbols of sanctity. There is currently no objective research on how such acts of aggression should be responded to, corrected, and averted. This study focuses on one of the methods used in the propagation of Islam, both in the past and in the present: namely by explaining how the mocking and insulting of other religions is in conflict with civilisational standards of ethics and decency, and by elaborating on this principle of mutual respect and tolerance as it is understood not only in Islamic law but also in international covenants and conventions. In addition, the study discusses methods of rebuttal that have been used throughout the history of Islam, dating from the time of sahabah to the present era, and proposes a strategy for averting and repelling such forms of religious aggression.
