المستخلص: This article tries to determine the current economic conditions in Africa continent. It also tries to discover the available opportunities that can be exploited to escape from the poverty cycle that unfortunately is increasing in Africa while decreasing in other places in the world. The article ensures that Africa continent has many competitive advantages. It has a strategic geographic location, a large area reaches 30.190 Km, many rivers, large fertile agricultural lands, oil and gas resources, many minerals, many tourism locations and it also has human resources as its population is more than one billion. There are many growth potentials in Africa that can be achieved even through changing the existing problems into opportunities. For simplification purposes, the article focuses only on ten of these opportunities, they are: enhancing the Afro-Arab Economic Integration starting with agriculture sector as a model, enhancing the economic integration between African countries, improving transportation roads to support bilateral trade, giving a great interest to education, industrial development through localizing the procurements of strategic sectors, equality in allocating resources, enhancing the role of African Blocs in disputes settlement, applying governance to control corruption, applying Integrated water management policies and giving a great interest to health care
