تناول هذا البحث عددا من القضايا المهمة، فحدد مفهوم التدبر، وبين أن الفهم سابق للتدبر، ولا تدبر بدون فهم سليم، وتتمثل مشكلة البحث في سؤال الناس المتكرر عن كيف يفهمون القرآن، وما هي المراجع المناسبة، كما تطرق إلي أدلة التدبر من القرآن الكريم وبيان أهميته، وأشار إلي أن العناية بفهم القرآن، وتدبره لا تقلّ عن العناية بحفظه وترتيله، فكما أن الناس متعبدون بقراءة ألفاظ القرآن كذلك هم متعبدون بفهمه وتدبره، وأيضا تناول أقسام الناس وموقفهم من القرآن، وهدف البحث إلي تعميق تدبر القرآن الكريم عل ميا وعمليا في نفوس الناس والتعرف علي منهج الصحابة في فهم القرآن. ومن أهم النتائج التي توصل إليها البحث أن فهم القرآن أمر واجب؛ لأن التدبر متوقف عليه، وما لا يتم الواجب إلا به فهو واجب
This research tackled a number of important issues where the concept of pondering has been explained, and it was shown that pondering precedes understanding, and there is no contemplation and pondering without a sound understanding. The problem of the research occured because many people are asking frequently on how to understand the Qur'an, and what are the appropriate references. The research also touched on the evidence of pondering in the Holy Quran and its importance. The research pointed out that the importance of understanding and pondering in the Holy Qur'an is not less important than reciting and memorizing it, hence if people are devout when reciting Quran, so they are understanding and pondering its meaning, the research also discused people’s opinions on the Quran. The main aim of this research was to deepen the notion of pondering Quran scientifically and practically in the hearts of people and to find out methods used by the prophet’s companions in understanding the Qur'an. Among the most important findings of this research is that understanding the Qur'an is an inevitable duty; because pondering relies upon this understanding.
