تعتبر الرياضة نشاطا اجتماعيا تربويا يشترك مع الأسرة في تحقيق الأهداف والغايات التربوية إذ أصبحت الرياضة تجلب الكثير من المهتمين والباحثين خاصة وأن العالم المعاصر يبدي لها اهتماما كبيرا. والجزائر كباقي الدول اهتمت بالرياضة منذ الاستقلال وإن لم يكن ذلك بنفس الدرجة مع تلك الدول، وتعددت الرياضات الممارسة لها وكثر عدد المنخرطين في مختلف الفدراليات. ومن خلال هذا البحث ارتأينا استخلاص صورة حقيقية حول تأثير المجتمع على اختيار الطفل للرياضة التي يمارسها وذلك في ولاية مستغانم كمجال جغرافي للدراسة. ولقد لجأنا من أجل تحديد مجال البحث وضبط الموضوع إلى الاقتصار على العوامل الاجتماعية والثقافية، خاصة أن موضوعنا يدور حول أطفال الطور الثاني (11-14سنة) الذين اندمجوا في المجتمع وتأثروا إلى حد كبير بكل ما يجري فيه. \
There is an important aspect of human personality which is determined by the community in its various institutions (school, family friends) where the impact is evident; it appears clearly on the various behaviors of the individual. Sport is a social and educational activity involved with the family in achieving the educational goals and objectives. Nowadays, Sport is become an interested field for Searches. The modern world shows a great interest in terms of participation in the world championships , especially the Olympics Games, which is considered in some countries manifestation of progress and development. Algeria, like other countries focused on the sport since independence, although not in the same level with those countries, through numerous sports practice and the number involved in many different federations. Through this research, we decided to work down on the real influence of the society and to show its impact on the child’s choice of sport practiced by him in the state of Mostaganem as an area of geographic study. I have resorted in order to determine the area of research and adjust the subject of exclusive social and cultural factors, especially as our theme revolves around the children of the second age (11-14 years) who have integrated into the community and have been affected to a large extent by what goes on in it. \
