الأرصدة العربية في المكتبات الأجنبية : دراسة مقارنة بين فهارس مكتبة الكونغرس (LoC) والمكتبة الوطنية الفرنسية (BaF) والمكتبة البريطانية (BL)

المقارنة بين فهارس المكتبات الثلاث والمنشورة على الواب قد تمكننا من تقييم الأشواط المقطوعة لإنجاز الفهرسة العربية كما قد تبرز العقبات التي قد تعترض حاليا أو مستقبليا هذه الأدوات حتى تكتسب الرؤى المستقبلية التي نطمح لها وتسعى المنظمات الدولية للتقنين لإرسائها كمثال يقتدي به لفهرس متعدد اللغات. وسوف تعتمد المقارنة على معايير مختلفة نذكر منها بالخصوص: حجم الرصيد، أنواع الوثائق، المعايير والمواصفات المعتمدة، مميزات العرض على الشاشة، ذكر موارد إضافية، إتاحة الوثائق، الخ. وفي غياب فهرس موضوعي موحد للأرصدة العربية، فإن إشكالية هذا البحث تتمحور حول الموازاة بين الوظائف والاستعمالات الجديدة وأدوات الفهرسة الحديثة وما مدى فاعلية رقمنة الفهارس العربية القديمة على تحقيق الشمولية في هذا المجال. This paper, containing numerous tables and illustrations, is devoted to the comparison between the Arab catalogs available in the Library of Congress, the British Library and the National Library of France. After the presentation of the origin and the constitution of the Arab funds, the article addresses the study of manuscripts online catalogs and digital catalogs of printed books and plain text books, and then the catalogs of the press and journals and the databases that are devoted to this latter type. The treatment of these catalogs has also been the subject of this comparative study between the standards for cataloging and indexing, as well as raising the issue of transliteration. Finally, the various modes of access have been evaluated both from the ergonomic point of view that in terms of rapid identification and ease of research. Cet article, enrichi de nombreux tableaux et illustrations, est consacré à la comparaison entre les catalogues des fonds documentaires arabes disponibles à la Library of Congress, la British Library et la Bibliothèque Nationale de France. Après la présentation de l’origine et de la constitution des fonds arabes, l’article aborde successivement l’étude des catalogues des manuscrits en ligne et numériques, des catalogues des livres imprimés et en texte plein, et enfin des catalogues de la presse et des périodiques, de même qu’il a analysé les fonctionnalités des bases de données consacrées à ces types de documents. Le traitement de ces catalogues a également fait l’objet de cette étude comparative allant de l’application des normes de catalogage et de l’indexation, en ce tout en soulevant le problème de la translittération. Enfin, les diverses modalités d’accès ont fait l’objet d’une évaluation aussi bien du point de vue ergonomique que du point de vue de la rapidité du repérage et de la facilité de la recherche. |
