المستخلص: In all societies, even those in constant changes, the legal security must prevail. Every upcoming innovator or disturbing aspects of social life can not justify the feeling of insecurity among citizens. The people should not be threatened by the use of computer related system in the law. The black letter law has always shown a great capacity of adaptation in managing any unforeseen events in society. It is therefore not surprising to see that the electronic writing and signature are sanctioned by the legislature. As regard to the electronic writing, a legal medium has gradually been developing in the past five years. But are the efforts that were put forward, in the adaptation of the law towards the new information and communication technologies, enough so that a high level of security would rule in the digital era? The latter has consolidated prior efforts and the results are indubitably positive. However, what we have so far is still below the desired legal security level for the digital era. To attain that level, the participation of everyone in numerous fields is required.
