The digital document evolves in a fast and spectacular way with regards to its structure and its content conveyed on the networks and throughout the information systems. Generally apprehended as a neutral support of information carrying a semantic value, the digital document is however loaded with cultural and linguistic values of its creator. This document tries to focus some technical issues which translate this intrinsic identity of the electronic document. The aim is to define a set of parameters and recommendations able to preserve to the numerical document its cultural and linguistic identity near to its potential users in the open and distributed information systems. The major issue aims at proposing some recommendations of "good practices" addressing producers of fully or partially multilingual numeric documents. |
