The research paper aimed to identify the unbroken covenant (observations on family lexicon in the Holy Quran). It explained that the contemplator of the fundamental purposes of Islam in regard with its interest of the institution of the family, can decide that it is achieved in several points, including psychological and physical (settlement), social harmony (affection and mercy), reconstruction (the principle of marriage is the perpetuation of marriage, the prohibition of marriage for those who are unable to marry, and the prohibition of abortion). The research paper turned to dealing with four elements. The first element addressed terms related to family establishment (the words of marriage and its introductions). The second element discussed the terms of the family's perpetuation (the words of marital life and its effects). The third element spoke about terms of (ending of marriage bond and its effects). The fourth element addressed the words of the purposes of starting a family in the Holy Quran. The paper concluded by presenting a set of results that emerged from the contemplation of the family dictionary in the Holy Quran through the observation of the terms structures and expressions of the words. Moreover, the words and expressions of the family in the holy text indicate the interest in the material affairs (financial/ physical) beside the psychological matters, which reflects the inclusiveness of Islam and its care for the human body and his spirit. The disparity in the resolution of the judgments relating to what Allah prohibited was demonstrated and emerged from the use of the Quran of these words and expressions combined with regard to the rights of honors and funds.
