المستخلص: هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على (الطوفي) وتأثيره على (الشاطبي) في نظرية المصالح. وسعت الدراسة إلى تناول تأثر الإمام (الشاطبي) بالإمام (الطوفي)، ذلك التأثر الذي رغم أهميته وانتشاره لم يحظ، بالاهتمام المناسب، لعدة عوامل منها، أن (الشاطبي) نفسه لم يذكر (الطوفي) رغم أن أسماء علماء كثيرين كانت حاضرة في مؤلفاته الأصولية مثل (الغزالي)، و(ابن رشد). وجاءت الدراسة في ثلاثة مباحث، أما المبحث الأول فتناول العموم والخصوص واشتمل على مطلبين وهما، حول أهمية مبحث العموم والخصوص، وموقف (الطوفي) و(الشاطبي) من العموم والخصوص. وأما المبحث الثاني فناقش المصلحة عند (الطوفي) و(الشاطبي)، وانقسم إلى ثلاث مطالب وهم، حديث لا ضرر ولا ضرار، والعلاقة الجدلية بين النص والمصلحة عند (الطوفي) وبين الكلي والجزئي عند (الشاطبي)، وقولهما بأن مجال المصلحة هو المعاملات. وأما المبحث الثالث فأشار إلى قولهما برجوع الشريعة إلى قول واحد، واشتمل على مطلبين وهما، موقف (الطوفي)، وموقف (الشاطبي). واختتمت الدراسة بعرض جدول يوضح تأثر (الشاطبي) (بالطوفي) في الجمل والعبارات.

The study aimed to identify (Al-Tufi) and his impact on (Al-Shatiby) in the theory of interests. The study sought to address the influence of the imam (Al-Shatiby) on the imam (Al-Tufi), the influence which, despite its importance and dissemination, it did not receive due attention to several factors. One of those factors is that Al-Shatby himself did not mention Al-Tufi, although the names of many scholars were present in his writings on fundamentalism, such as (Al-Ghazali), and (Ibn Rushd). The study dealt with three topics. The first topic tackled the generality and the specificity, and included two elements, namely, the importance of the generality and the specificity, and the positions of (Al-Tufi) and (Al-Shatiby) regarding generality and specificity. As for the second topic, the interest is discussed in Al-Tufi and Al-Shatiby. It is divided into three elements. They talked about namely the hadith of "There should be neither harming nor reciprocating harm", the dialectical relationship between the text and the interest in Al-Tufi and between the whole and the partial in Al-Shatiby and their opinion saying that the area of interest is represented in dealings. The third topic pointed to their view about referring only to the Sharia, and it included two elements, namely the position of Al-Tufi and the position of Al-Shatiby. The study ended with a presentation of a table showing the influence of (Al-Tufi) on (Al-Shatiby) demonstrated in sentences and phrases.
