This article examines the role of myth in shaping religious thought of ancient Egyptian, the origination with belief and contributed equally great in the consolidation of any belief or compensated another through a new myth, have been linked to the myth priests because they promote as consistent and interests or the interests of the Kings, as embodied myths polytheism in ancient Egypt that did not know limits of embodiment, and we find the legend prominent role in religious rituals that were practiced either daily or periodic or which specializes occasions certain, and thus it can be concluded that religion and myth correlation in the periods in which rolled on the ancient Egyptian civilization, where they complement each other
