هدف البحث إلى التعرف على قيم مجتمع المعلومات، وأهم القضايا التي تتضمنها هذه القيم، والوقوف على العوامل والمحددات التي تسهم في تشكيل قيم المعلومات لدى طلاب كليات فرع الجامعة بالسويس، والكشف عن أهم العوامل والمتغيرات المجتمعية التي أدت إلى زيادة الاهتمام بدور عضو هيئة التدريس في تنمية قيم مجتمع المعلومات لدى طلاب كليات فرع الجامعة. واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي، والاستبيان كأداة للبحث، وأشتمل البحث على الخطوات التالية: أولاً: الإطار النظري للبحث، ويشمل: الخطوة الأولى: مفهوم قيم مجتمع المعلومات وأهم القضايا التي تتضمنها هذه القيم. الخطوة الثانية: العوامل والمحددات التي تسهم في تشكيل نسق قيم مجتمع المعلومات لدى الطلاب. الخطوة الثالثة: العوامل والمتغيرات المجتمعية التي أدت إلى زيادة الاهتمام بتنمية قيم المعلومات لدى طلاب كليات فرع الجامعة. ثانياً: الإطار الميداني للبحث، ويشمل: 1. أهداف الدراسة الميدانية، وهي رصد واقع دور عضو هيئة التدريس بكليات فرع الجامعة في إكساب وتنمية قيم مجتمع المعلومات لدى طلابه، والكشف عن أبرز المعوقات التي تعوق اكتساب وتنمية قيم مجتمع المعلومات لدى طلابه. 2. إجراءات الدراسة الميدانية: تحديد عينة الدراسة وتبلغ (678) طالب من كليات فرع الجامعة بالسويس. 3. أداة الدراسة (الاستبيان). 4. الأساليب الإحصائية المستخدمة. ثالثاً: نتائج الدراسة الميدانية (تحليلها وتفسيرها) رابعاً: التصور المقترح لتفعيل دور عضو هيئة التدريس في تنمية قيم مجتمع المعلومات لدى طلاب الجامعة. \
The research at recognizing information society values, and the most important issues which these values implied, also recognizing the factors and determinations that contribute in forming information values for Suez Channel University branch students at Suez, and discovering the most important factors and societal variables which led to increasing the interest of staff members role in developing information society values for faculty students at the university branch. The research used the descriptive methodology, also it used the questionnaire as the research tool, it implied the following steps: Firstly :The theoretical framework of the research which implied: The first step: The concept’ of information society and the most important issues which these values implied. The second step: factors and determinations that contribute in forming information values context of students. The third step: factors and societal variables which led to increasing the interest in developing information values for faculty students at the university branch. Secondly: The field frame of the research, it implied: 1- Aims of the field study which is to know the reality of staff members role at the faculties of university branch in acquiring and developing information society values of students, recognizing the most important obstacles that hinder acquiring and developing information society values for students. 2- The field study procedures: determining the symbol of the study, which was (678) students (males and females) from faculties of the university branch at Suez, they are: (Faculty of Education, Industrial Education, Commerce, Science, Petroleum Engineering, Mining, and Fish Wealth). 3- The research tool: (The Questionnaire) 4- The used statistical methods. Thirdly: The field study results (analyze and interpretation) Fourthly: The prospected proposal to effectivate the staff members role in developing information society values of university students. \
