|a يهدف البحث إلى قراءة إشكالية وضع المثقف في الجامعة في لحظة سياسية منغلقة لا توفر مساحة سوى الحوار المباشر مع الطلاب في قاعة الدرس. وإذا كان دور المثقف مسألة مأزومة بحكم التقاطع الجدلي بين السياسي والمعرفي، فإن الجامعة لا تقل عنه بأزمتها التي يتصدرها سؤال رئيسي هو: هل الجامعة مكان أم فكرة أم وسيط؟ إنه سؤال مفارق لأن الجامعة بشكلها الحالي جاءت تتويجا للحداثة وانتصارا لها، لكن الخلل الحادث بفعل تبعية المعرفي للسياسي وهيمنة الأخير هيمنة مطلقة أعاد السؤال البديهي الذي استمدت منه الجامعة شرعيتها كفكرة، وتضاف إلى ذلك مفارقة أخرى متعلقة بالعلوم الإنسانية، تلك العلوم التي ناضلت حتى حصلت على استقلالها حقلا معرفيا قائم بذاته، وإذ بهذا الاستقلال يفقد قيمته بسبب تصاعد نفوذ حقل الدراسات العلمية، وكأن الإنسانيات لا تدخل في بند التفكير العلمي. ومن أجل فهم الكيفية التي تمكن المثقف في الجامعة من الإمساك بصورة الماضي، سعيا إلى منحه معنى جديدا، لابد أن نعيد النظر في مصطلحي المثقف والجامعة، وهما مصطلحان يفتحان بداية باب تعريفات غير نهائية، وهو ما يدفعنا إلى انتقاء ما يبدو مفصليا منها. تساعد التعريفات على التأشير على الأزمات التي تواجه كينونة المثقف- بما في ذلك علاقته بالسلطة من ناحية، وبالجماهير من ناحية أخرى- وماهية الجامعة. وفي النهاية سيقدم البحث أمثلة عملية لكيفية قراءة الماضي في قاعة الدرس ومنحه حياة جديدة في الحاضر.

|f The research aims to read the problematic situation of the intellectual at the university in a closed political moment that provides no space other than direct dialogue with students in the classroom. If the role of the intellectual is a crisis issue due to the dialectical intersection between the politician and the intellectual, then the university is no less than it with its crisis, which is led by a major question: is the university a place, an idea, or a mediator? It is a paradoxical question because the university in its current form came as a culmination and victory for modernity, but the defect occurred due to the dependence of knowledge on the politician and the latter’s dominance of absolute power, which brought back the obvious question from which the university derived its legitimacy as an idea. To this is added another paradox related to the humanities, those sciences that struggled until they gained their independence as a field of knowledge in its own right, and as this independence loses its value due to the rising influence of the field of scientific studies, as if the humanities do not fall under the category of scientific thinking. In order to understand how the intellectual in the university was able to grasp the image of the past, in an effort to give it a new meaning, we must reconsider the terms intellectual and university, two terms that open the door to infinite definitions, which prompts us to choose what seems to be a crucial one. Definitions help to point out the crises facing the intellectual's being - including his relationship to power on the one hand, and to the masses on the other - and what the university is. At the end, the research will provide practical examples of how to read the past in the classroom and give it a new life in the present. This abstract was translated by AlMandumah Inc.
