هدف البحث الى التعرف على تعريف مصطلح الكناية في التراث البلاغي وإشكالية تعدد المصطلح وازدواجية المفهوم. واستخدم البحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي. لتوضيح التداخل بين مصطلح الكناية و8 مصطلحات أخري هي التعريض والتلويح والرمز والإيماء والأرداف والتمثيل والتتبيع والتورية. وكيف فرق ابن الأثير بين الكناية والتعريض وازدواجية مفهوم الكناية. والخلاف بين ابن الأثير ويحي العلوي. والخلاف بين الجرجاني ويحي العلوي حول مفهوم الكناية. وتجسيد التداخل بين الكناية والتلويح في الجمع بينهما في مبحث واحد عند الزركشي. واستخدام الشاهد الواحد للكناية والتلويح كما هي الحال عند يحيي العلوي والسكاكي. وأوصي البحث بعقد مؤتمر علمي يختص بإشكالية المصطلح في التراث البلاغي اعتماد معجم لمصطلحات التراث البلاغي يكفل تخليص المصطلح من التعدد والمفهوم من الازدواجية. ودعوة الأكاديميين الى التنبيه على إشكالية المصطلح في الدرس البلاغي الجامعي. كما يجب تشكيل جمعية البلاغيين على غرار جمعية النقاد. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The aim of the research is to identify the definition of the term "metaphor" in the rhetorical heritage and the problematic of multiplicity of the terms and duplication of the concept. The research used the descriptive analytical method to clarify the overlap between the term of the metaphor and 8 other terms are the exposure, waving, symbol, gestures, synonyms, representation, metaphor and pun and how Ibn Al-Ather differed between the metaphor, formation and exposure and the dual concept of metaphor, the disagreement between Ibn Al-Ather and Yahya Al-'Alawi, the difference between the Jirjani and Yahya Alawi about the concept of metaphor, the embodiment of the overlap between the metaphor and waving in the combination of them in one subject at Al-Zarkashi and the use of the one witness to the metaphor and waving, as is the case of Yahya Al-'Alawi and Al-Sakaki. The study recommended holding a scientific conference on the problem of the term in the rhetorical heritage, the adoption of a glossary of the rhetorical terms to ensure that the term is rid of the pluralism and the concept of duplication and inviting the academics to look at the problem of the term in the university rhetorical lesson.
