|b Africans has displayed a highly developed sense of beauty form and harmony of colour. As Tribal dress in southern Africa is seemingly infinite in its variety and very often spectacular in its form, so African fashion and beadworks are intended to be a sources of inspiration. This work is an attempt to describe the design decisions and the process of colour selection, in trial to integrate colour science with the design process, employing African decorative units inspired from South African tribal dress. After reviewing scope and characteristic features of African tribal dress; inspired decorative units are used to achieve printing designs that give the sense and appearance of beadwork. After that fashion designs that also inspired from African tribal dresses are prepared to meet the objectives. Finally the Suggested printed textile products are actually implemented by combining decorative designs (printing) with structural & functional designs (fashion) using suitable and defined type of fabric to make garments. In order to raise the value added to these fabrics and to create attractive designs like African beadwork by short time and low price.
