A key issue facing the Web community is Web resource discovery and description. Although the Web is unquestionably a rich source of in-formation for nearly every conceivable topic, isolating the subset of in-formation pertinent to a particular need is often a formidable task. Similarly, assessing the relevance of certain resource types-for example, scholarly research-on the web often produces results, that are little better than anecdotal. The difficulty in contending with these issues is ex¬acerbated by the Web’s exponential growth. The problem of Web resource discovery and description is eased by the existence of metadata. Metadata is self-descriptive information that Web authors can embed directly in their documents. Many commercial search engines use the metadata supplied in Web documents to assist in indexing their databases and ranking search results. The thing which you get when you follow a link, when you de-reference a URI, has a let of names. Formally we call it a resource. Sometimes it is referred to as a document because many of the things currently on the Web are human readable documents. Sometimes it is referred to as an object when the object is something which is more machine readable in nature or has hidden state. We use the words document and resource interchangeably in what follows and sometimes may slip into using “object”. In this paper the Web application analysis system was designed to analyze the Web-based application and generating the metadata of this application by using linked analysis and analyzing the Web hypermedia document by parsing the hypermedia content and generating the metadata for Web digital library. This work supplies the analysis tool to analyze Web sites and the generato Native XML (NXD) data bases that will be used to build automatic classification of library resources in efficient and effective way.
