المستخلص: Software components are reusable units that have been independently constructed (developed by different developers using different programming languages, tools, and platforms) for building software applications, operating systems and other components. The need for reusability, interoperability, maintainability, adaptability, and distribution boosted the emergence of component technology. Many new technologies have been developed around what is so called Component-Based Software Development (CBSD) or component-ware. Some of these technologies are COM and CORBA. Each component technology has its rules which are different from the others. Therefore, it is difficult to develop any application or system based on more than one technology. Agent is a new software paradigm for distributed application development. Agents must have the following characteristics adaptability, mobility, transparency and accountability, ruggedness, self-starters and user centered. This paper introduces a multi-agents code generation tool implemented by using JAVA programming language. This tool generates a component-based client application. One of the most advantages of this proposed tool it can call COM components, CORBA components, or JAVA/RMI components. This tool consists of three agents: main agent, database agent, and code generation agent. The code generation tool is developed and tested.
