يشكل الاقتصاد غير الرسمي نسبة لا يستهان بها في مصر مثل العديد من دول العالم، وبالرغم من وجود تباين بين الدراسات المختلفة حول تقديرات حجم الاقتصاد غير الرسمي إلا أنها تؤكد جميعها على تزايد حجم نشاطه في مصر. وتهدف هذه الدراسة إلى إلقاء الضوء على واقع القطاع غير الرسمي في مصر، ورصد تطوره، والتعرف على خصائصه وأسباب انتشار أنشطته وآثارها على الاقتصاد المصري، مع تقدير حجم القطاع غير الرسمي في مصر خلال الفترة من 91-2013، ونسبته إلى الناتج المحلي الإجمالي اعتمادا على الأسلوب غير المباشر وباستخدام المدخل النقدي. كما تطبق الدراسة النموذج القياس للإجابة عن التساؤل حول ما هي العوامل الأكثر تأثيرا على تزايد حجم الاقتصاد غير الرسمي؟ من أجل الوصول إلى الإجراءات والسياسات التي من شأنها دمج أنشطته في القطاع الرسمي. مستخدما في ذلك المدخل النقدي غير المباشر في تقدير حجم الاقتصاد غير الرسمي في مصر، مع استخدام الأسلوب الإحصائي القياسي، للإجابة على التساؤلات المتعلقة بمشكلة البحث وتحقيق الهدف منه.
The informal economy forms a non negligible percent in Egypt like many countries in the world, and despite the presence of variation among different studies about the estimates of the size of the informal sector, but they all emphasize the increasing volume of its activity in Egypt. This study aims to shed light on the reality of the informal sector in Egypt, and to monitor its evolution, and to identify the characteristics and causes of the spread of its activities and their impact on the Egyptian economy, with an estimate of the size of the informal sector in Egypt during the period froml991-2013, and the rate of GDP depending on the indirect method and using the cash entrance. The study also stand to the standard model to answer the question about what are the most influential factors on increasing the size of the informal economy? For access to the procedures and policies that will integrate its activities in the formal sector. Using indirect cash method in estimating the size of the informal economy in Egypt, using of standard statistical method to answer questions relating to the problem of research and achieve the goal of it.
