|b Institutions of higher education are facing massive challenges in the knowledge economy, as an important part of it. The problem of "evaluation" is posed as an important challenge by different frameworks of international ranking systems, where each classification prescribed its specific standards and indicators; which increase the problematic of evaluating the performance of Algerian universities. This article aims at explaining the importance and how to use the Balanced Scorecard as an approach that combines the various dimensions of performance evaluation (financial and non-financial) in Algerian universities, to achieve the excellence and continuous improvement; by clarifying the challenges of higher education in the knowledge economy, how higher education in Algeria must response, and finally the use of BSC for mastering the performance evaluation of the Algerian universities.

|d Les institutions de l’enseignement supérieur font face aux plusieurs défis dans l’économie de la connaissance, comme une partie importante de celui-ci. Parmi ces défis, on trouve le défi de l’évaluation imposé par les différents cadres des systèmes de classement international, où chaque classement prescrit ces propres normes et indicateurs, ce qui agrandit la problématique de l’évaluation de la performance des universités algériennes. Cet article vise à expliquer l’importance et la façon d’utiliser le Balanced Scorecard, en tant qu’approche qui combine les diverses dimensions de l’évaluation de la performance dans les universités algériennes (financières et non financières), afin de réaliser l’amélioration continue et l’excellence, en clarifiant les défis de l’enseignement supérieur dans l’économie de la connaissance, l’enseignement supérieur algérien face à ces défis, et enfin l’utilisation de BSC pour maîtriser l’évaluation de la performance des universités algériennes.

|e تواجه مؤسسات التعليم العالي تحديات هائلة في اقتصاد المعرفة كجزء مهم منها. تمثل مشكلة "التقييم" تحديًا هامًا يواجه مختلف أطياف أنظمة التصنيف الدولية، حيث يحدد كل تصنيف معاييره ومؤشراته الخاصة؛ مما يزيد من إشكالية تقييم أداء الجامعات الجزائرية. تهدف هذه المقالة إلى توضيح أهمية وكيفية استخدام بطاقة الأداء المتوازن (BSC) كنهج يجمع بين الأبعاد المختلفة لتقييم الأداء (المالي وغير المالي) في الجامعات الجزائرية، لتحقيق التميز والتطوير المستمر. من خلال توضيح تحديات التعليم العالي في اقتصاد المعرفة، وكيفية مواءمة التعليم العالي في الجزائر، وأخيرا استخدام (BSC) لإتقان تقييم أداء الجامعات الجزائرية. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
