المستخلص: Globalization means that the economy has become more global and developing countries are included in that world-wide economy. The issue that requires more economic interaction between the different parts of the globe to maximize each country benefit by exploring cheap labor and other factors. And it is case where international capital search for minimizing their costs they seek for cheap labor including child labor especially in the developing countries. The aim of this paper is to emphasis on the effect of globalization that leads to more poverty and poverty is one of the reasons that increase the numbers of child labor. Consequently, globalization leads to increase child labor. The present paper investigates the effect of globalization on child labor in developing countries -with a special emphasis on the Egyptian economy. The paper is divided into four parts first section focus on a literature review. Second section explores the effect of globalization on child labor in developing countries. Third section investigates the level of child labor in Egypt and the efforts fighting child Labor. Finally; conclusion.
