المستخلص: One of the immediate results of the Arab spring is that it drew attention to the economic potential and to the investment opportunities latent in countries of the Arab spring. These countries continued for a long time to be subject to a limited scope of development, services, and long-term investment. Lacking vision and future planning, the totalitarian regimes which used to rule these countries provided temporary solutions for any crisis that they came across. The ruling authorities also utilized revenues of oil and other resources to propagate for their policies and ideologies, hence wasting such wealth on futile number of unimportant, short-term projects. The revolutions that erupted in the Arab spring countries brought into focus projects related to sustainable development, infra-structure, improvement of roads, bridges, railway and other means of transportation. This research discusses some investment opportunities in the field of transportation, addressing issues like demand for the service, level of the service available, future prospects, and investment opportunities. \
