تدل الاستعارة في علم البيان على استعمال أو توظيف كلمة بدل أخرى لعلاقة المشابهة مع القرينة الدالة على هذا الاستعمال، فهي استعمال مجازي لمعنى خاص لتكون رؤية العالم الموضوعي والمتخيل في الآن ذاته وهي تساعد الشاعر الفنان على إنشاء أو إقامة دعائمه الأساسية في نصه الإبداعي استنادا إلى واقع تعبيري يحمل للمتلقي لغة الخطاب الرمزي أو الإيحائي والفكري للرؤية والرؤيا الجمالية من خلال العلاقات القائمة بين عناصر الصورة داخل النص الشعري، ولذلك ستكون الاستعارة في بحثنا هذا وسيلة غنية تدفعنا لدراسة مكونات النص الأدبي في شعر ابن زمرك والتي تمظهرت كالآتي: - التشكيل الاستعاري بالرؤية الملامسة للواقع، وتحديد ملامح المستوى التعبيري ورصد جوانب الإبداع فيه والمستوى البصري للاستعارة والذي مثله التشكيل الاستعاري بالرؤيا المتخيلة والتي تمثل صدى لإحساس الشاعر المبدع بالأشياء من حوله ومقدار تأثره بها. \
