المستخلص: In the last few decades, Geo-Environmental and pollution were common phenomena in Burullus Lake, and Nile Delta Shoreline; as a result to natural and human impact. The changes affected on the sustainable development and planning processes, as well as they threaten people activities and quality of life. In order to determine, assess, evaluate and manage these changes, Topographic maps, Remote Sensing data and GIS were used added to fieldwork. This study identified those changes in :1- The Delta Shoreline changes, as result to erosion and deposition due to waves, tides, sea level rising and delta land subsidence. The measurements showed that the total of erosion ranged between -1.3 to - 87 m/year for the period from 1925 to 2001, and the total of deposition was + 1.6 to + 113 m/year for the same period. 2- The shrinkage of Burullus lake water body area, where the area was 550.9 km2 in 1925, reduced to 375.8 km2 in 1984 and became 212.8 km2 only in 2001. The continuous reduction due to unplanned human activities, and the excessive of evaporation process, especially, the lake inlet to the sea was closed most of time. 3- As a result to polluted water drain of intensive irrigation systems of the cultivated lands around the lake into the lake water, this lead to critical situation of excessive heavy metals especially, CR, BP, CD, NI, CO, CU, SU, and Fe. 4- According to the sea level rising, and inspecting of the level will rise one meter in 2100, the sea water will cover about 7000 km2 of the northern part of the delta lands. In order to manage those problems, the study present number of suggestions that may help in the area planning and useful in sustainable development
