هدفت الدراسة إلى استعراض كتبا عربية وأجنبية وتقارير بحثية أيضا. فتحدث المحور الأول: عن الكتب العربية، ككتاب العقيدة الأمنية الإسرائيلية وحروب إسرائيل في العقد الأخير، وضم هذا الكتاب مجموعة من الدراسات والمقالات لجنرالات وباحثين مختصين بالشؤون الأمنية الإسرائيلية. وجاء الكتاب الثاني بعنوان: الإشكالات التاريخية والآفاق المعرفية، وجاء في مقدمة هذا الكتاب أن مفهوم العلمانية يتعرض لحملات متجددة من الإساءة، والتشويه، والنقد، والتجريح تجعله مرادفا للإلحاد وتخريب الدين وإبادة القيم الروحية. وأشار المحور الثاني من الدراسة: إلى الكتب الأجنبية، ككتاب Egypt’s Lost Spring: Causes and Consequences، والذي سعى إلى تقديم تحليل مفصل للأحداث التي شهدتها مصر منذ إسقاط الرئيس حسنى مبارك2011، وصولا الى انتفاضة 30 يونيو 2013، التي أدت إلى عزل الرئيس محمد مرسى، وملاحقة الإخوان المسلمين. كما تحدث الكتاب عن الأحداث التي سبقت عزل مرسي، ودور الجيش والأحزاب السياسية، والإسلام السياسي في التأثير في مجرى الأحداث والربيع العربي. واتجه المحور الثالث من الدراسة إلى: عرض بعض التقارير البحثية، كتقرير «Ending the Middle East’s Civil Wars،»، والذي يؤكد على ضرورة وقف الحروب الأهلية، الدائرة في المنطقة، لاسيما في سوريا، العراق، ليبيا، واليمن التي باتت تهدد الأوضاع الهشة في عدد آخر من البلدان العربية مثل لبنان، الأردن، تونس، مصر، الجزائر، وربما تركيا والسعودية. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The study aimed at reviewing the Arabic and foreign books and the research reports as well. The first axis spoke about the Arabic books, such as the book of "The Israeli security doctrine and the wars of Israel in the last decade". This book has included a collection of studies and articles for generals and researchers specializing in the Israeli security affairs. The second book, entitled: "Historical Problems and Cognitive Perspectives". In the introduction to this book, it expressed that the concept of secularism is subjected to renewed campaigns of abuse, distortion, criticism and defamation that make it synonymous with atheism, destruction of religion and eradication of spiritual values. The second axis of the study referred to the foreign books, such as "Egypt's Lost Spring: Causes and Consequences", which sought to provide a detailed analysis of the events that took place in Egypt since the overthrow of President Hosni Mubarak in 2011, leading up to the June 30, 2013 uprising, which led to the deposition of President Mohamed Morsi, and the persecution of the Muslim Brotherhood. The book also talked about the events that preceded the deposition of Marsi, the role of the army and the political parties, and the role of the political Islam in influencing the course of the events and the Arab Spring. The third axis of the study aimed at presenting some research reports, such as «Ending the Middle East’s Civil Wars», which stresses the need to end the civil wars in the region, especially in Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Yemen, Other Arab countries such as Lebanon, Jordan, Tunisia, Egypt, Algeria, possibly Turkey and Saudi Arabia too.
