|a يقصد هذا البحث إلى دراسة جانب من جوانب الاهتمام بالمعنى القرآني في ثرائه وغزارته وتنوع أسالب التعبير فيه، وهو في الوقت نفسه يساهم في إبراز جهد بعض علمائنا في تناول هذا المعنى الكريم، وهما ضياء الدين ابن الأثير في كتابه (الجامع الكبير)، ونجم الدين الطوفي الذي اختصره في كتابه (الإكسير)، وذلك لقلة اهتمام الدارسين لهذين الكتابين من هذه الزاوية. ويتكون البحث من تمهيد يلخص التكوين العلمي للرجلين وعلاقتهما بعلوم القرآن، ثم مباحث ثلاثة تدرس دراسة مقارنة موضوع الكتابين وطريقة عرضهما للمباحث فيهما، ثم أهم الأدوات التي استعانا بها كالمصطلح والاستدلالات وغيرها من المقدمات الضرورية لبحث المعنى، وصولا إلى الرؤية البيانية التي تكونت لدى كل منهما حول المعنى القرآني. آملا أن يسهم هذا البحث في الكشف عن بعض أسرار البيان القرآني وفاءً لعلمائنا الأجلاء، وخدمة لتفسير القرآن الكريم.

|b This research work aims at studying one aspect of the scholarly interest devoted to the Qur’anic meaning in all its richness, abundance and variety of stylistic and rhetorical expressions. At the same time, it brings to the fore the studious efforts of two Muslim scholars in addressing these holy meanings, namely Dhia Al-Deen Ibn Al-Atheer in his book entitled Al-Jame’ Al-Kabeer (The Grand Collection), and Najm Al-Deen Al-T'ufy who summarized and abridged Al-Jame' Al- Kabeer in a book entitled Al-Ikseer (Elixir). Basically, the choice of these two scholarly books and authors was due to the lack of research conducted in this crucial field of study. The paper consists of an introduction summing up the scientific background of these scholars and their deep interest and thorough involvement in the discipline of Qur’anic sciences. This is followed by three sections, each positing a comparative study of the subject matter of the two books, their respective presentation of the thematic content, and the investigative tools deployed, such as terminologies, deductions, and other introductory devices necessary to search for the meaning. The researcher concludes with the rhetorical vision each of the two authors had formulated about the Qur’anic meaning. The objective of this research is to elucidate some of the hidden wonders of the Qur’anic rhetoric, pay tribute to our venerable Islamic scholars, and contribute to explicating the Holy Qur’an.
