المستخلص: يسعى البحث الحالي إلى تحقيق عدد من الأهداف منها قياس اتخاذ القرار والشخصية الناضجة لدى طلبة جامعة بغداد وكذلك معرفة دلالة الفروق بين المتغيرين لدى طلبة الجامعة على وفق متغير الجنس فضلاً عن ذلك معرفة طبيعة العلاقات الارتباطية بين المتغيرين وقد اعد الباحث مقياسين (مقياس اتخاذ القرار) و(مقياس الشخصية الناضجة) وقد روعي في إعداد المقياسين الشروط العلمية المستعملة في إعداد المقاييس النفسية وتم التحقق من مؤشرات صدق وثبات المقياسين وتم استعمال عينة لبناء المقياسين إذ بلغت قوامها (٤٠٠) طالب وطالبة وقد اعتمد الباحث نظرية (التنافر المعرفي ليون فستنكر) في متغير اتخاذ القرار وعلى نظرية (جوردن البورت) نظرية السمات في متغير الشخصية الناضجة ووضع العديد من الدراسات السابقة واستعمل الوسائل الإحصائية المناسبة وبالاستعانة بالحقيبة الإحصائية للعلوم النفسية والاجتماعية (SPSS) للوصول إلى نتائج البحث وقد أظهرت نتائج البحث ما يأتي: 1- يتمتع طلبة جامعة بغداد بالقدرة على اتخاذ القرار. 2- لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في القدرة على اتخاذ القرار لدى طلبة جامعة بغداد على وفق متغير الجنس (ذكور، إناث). 3- يتمتع طلبة جامعة بغداد بالشخصية الناضجة. 4- توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الشخصية الناضجة على وفق متغير الجنس ولصالح الذكور. 5- توجد علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بين المتغيرين اتخاذ القرار والشخصية الناضجة.

The research clarifies a number of targets, including a measure of decision-making and personal mature at Baghdad University students as well as knowledge the differences between two variables among university students according variable and knowledge of the nature of the correlation relationships between variables. The researcher has depended on two measures, (a measure of decision-making) and (a measure of mature personality) concerning scientific conditions that used in the construction of the two psychological measures. The investigations were verified of validity and reliability of two measures. The construction sample has used for these measures since it reached for (400) students. The researcher adopted the theory of (cognitive dissonance of Lyon Vistinker) in variable decision-making and also on the theory of (Gordon Albert) Trait theory in variable mature personality. The researcher develop many of the previous studies and use appropriate statistical methods and using statistical and psychological bagful of Social Sciences (SPSS) to get to the search results have shown the following search results: 1. Baghdad University students enjoyed with the ability to make a decision. 2. There were not statistically significant in the decision-making capacity at Baghdad University students according to gender variable males and females. 3. Baghdad University students enjoyed with mature personality. 4. There are statistically significant differences in the mature personal differences according to sex variable and in favor of males. 5. There is a positive correlation between the two variables relations decision-making and mature personality.
