المستخلص: كثر الجدل والنقاش حول تداخل الأجناس الأدبية في الفنون النثرية عامة، وفي السردية أكثر من سواها؛ حيث تعد مسألة الأجناس الأدبية من المشاكل الأولى للشعرية منذ القديم وحتى الآن. فتجديد الأجناس وتعدادها ورصد العلائق المشتركة بينها، لم يتوقف عن فتح باب الجدال. لذا فإن دراسة مسألة التعالق الأجناسي أصبحت ضرورة تقتضيها نظرية الأدب المعاصرة، لما للجنس الأدبي من أهمية معيارية ووصفية وتفسيرية في تحليل النصوص وتصنيفها ونمذجتها ودراستها، من خلال سماتها النمطية ومكوناتها النوعية وخصائصها التجنيسية، كما أن معرفة قواعد الجنس تساعدنا على إدراك التطور الجمالي والفني والنصي، وتطور التاريخ الأدبي باختلاف تطور الأذواق وجماليات التقبل والتلقي.
لقد انصب اختيارنا في الدراسة على التركيز حول جنس الرواية وتتبع خصائصه الأجناسية، باعتبار الرواية من أكثر الأجناس الأدبية عرضة للتداخل الأجناسي، وذلك بحكم هشاشتها وانفتاحها على الأجناس الخرى. فالرواية ظلت باستمرار، جنسًا أدبيًا متقلقلاً يستعصي على الاستقرار، ذلك أن الرواية هي من الأجناس الأدبية القليلة، التي لم ترسم لنفسها بعد، قواعد فنية موحدة

There has been a lot of debate and discussion concerning the overlap of the literary genres within the arts of poetic prose in general and the narrative form more than others. That is as the issue of literary genres is regarded to be from the primary problems associated with poetry since ancient times until today. Renewing, enumerating and assigning the common relationships between them did not cease opening the door of debate. As such, studying the issue of the genre correlation came to be a necessity dictated by the contemporary literary view due to what the literary genre contains in terms of normative, descriptive and interpretive important in relation to analyzing the texts, categorizing, modeling and studying them, through their standard characteristics, qualitative components and naturalizing specificities. Similarly, knowing the principles of the genre assists us to comprehend the aesthetic, artistic and textual development, in addition to the development of the literary history by the difference of the development of the tastes and niceties of acceptance and recipience.
Our choice in the study has rested upon the focus of the genre of the novel and the pursuance of its genre specificities. That is due to the consideration of the novel being representative of the literary genre which is most exposed to genre overlap. That is due to its delicacy and openness to other genres. That is because the novel remains continuously as a precarious literary genre which resists stability. That is because the novel is from the few literary genres which has yet to set unified artistic rules or principles for it. This abstract translated by Dar AlMandumah Inc. 2018
