المستخلص: Statement of the problem: \ Having taught many courses in Negotiation & Cross-Cultural Communication, using several textbooks and literature in that field, and having analyzed a representative sample of classroom Interactions for Egyptian MIBA students, I have discovered the following: \ 1-\ Several existing benchmarks are characterized by lack of precision, overgeneralization. and Jack of an accurate applicable framework for identifying exact cultural patterns. \ 2-\ The existing cross-cultural communication benchmarks have \ been\ predominantly\ analyzed\ from\ a\ western \ perspective and deserve to be discussed and reconsidered from an interdisciplinary and multi cultural perspectives, \ 3-\ Many of the highly circulated studies and texts that pertain to \ cross-\ cultural communication analyses are quite \ questionable from an\ academic\ and\ humanist \ perspective. What adds to the problem is that such studies and texts are highly circulated and quite accessible to the interested students and general interactants in the field of cross-cultural communication. Many of my MIBA students expressed their deep\ concern and criticism after having \ examined such texts and studies. \ Objectives: \ 1-\ Analyzing and examining cases of fallacious deployment of cross- cultural communication benchmarks that are very frequently used in cross-cultural communication textbooks and courses in Egyptian MIBA programs and need tfl be reexamined. \ 2-\ Demonstrating how cross-cultural communication benchmarks may be accurately deployed and integrated in an interdisciplinary linguistics of negotiation model that generates more effective and more operational tools for enhancing the interactants' negotiating competency in both intra-cultural and cross-cultural settings. \ 3-\ \ providing a sample unit that embodies the underlying of the Linguistics of Negotiation and Cross-Cultural Communication model (LONCCC) adopted by the researcher.
