المستخلص: The purpose of this section was to summarize the history of equal earning and employment rights for women in Kuwait and the U.K.. Although laws are currently in place in both countries, gender discrimination still exists in the workplace in a more hidden manner. Also showed that the behavior of some of the male seniors in the workplace towards women is quite rude. Many of them believe women are a problem in the workplace (Cockburn, 2002; Malthouse, 1998), as women have to look after their children somehow Finally; a brief summary of men's right to paternity leave was given. Although this section is relatively brief, the information provided is important, because it does outline the important issues in relation to law and policy, as well as gendered attitudes in relation to women's employment. The information provided here, although brief, is important, as it involves gender discrimination regarding working women and other important legal and policy-related issues. \
