هدف هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على تقصي علاقة التأهيل المهني والاجتماعي بالتوافق النفسي لدى المعاقين في محافظة الطائف من وجهة نظر معلميهم وأسرهم، ومحاولة استقصاء آليات تحسين أساليب التأهيل المهني والاجتماعي من خلال معرفة أوجه القصور فيها وأهم المعيقات التي تواجه التأهيل المهني والاجتماعي للمعاقين والمقترحات اللازمة لتحسينه من وجهة نظر أفراد عينة الدراسة، وسوف تتكون عينة الدراسة من جميع معلمي المدارس ومعاهد المعاقين التابعة لإدارة التربية والتعليم بمحافظة الطائف، تكونت من (10) مدارس ومعهد في محافظة الطائف بالطريقة العشوائية الطبقية وعدد من المعلمين وأسر الطلبة وذلك في العام الدراسي (1433-1434)، وتكونت أدوات الدراسة من مقياسين الأول لقياس مستوى التأهيل الاجتماعي لدى المعاقين من وجهة نظر معلميهم وأسرهم في محافظة الطائف، والمقياس الثاني للتعرف على التوافق النفسي لدى المعاقين من وجهة نظر معلميهم وأسرهم في محافظة الطائف، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (30) معلم، و(30) رب أسرة، وبعد جمع البيانات ومعالجتها إحصائيا أظهرت النتائج: وجود مستوى مرتفع للتأهيل المهني والاجتماعي للطلبة المعاقين من وجهة نظر معلميهم وأسرهم، وجود مستوى متوسط من التوافق النفسي للطلبة المعاقين من وجهة نظر معلميهم وأسرهم في محافظة الطائف، عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة (0.05) في مجالات الدراسة (التأهيل المهني والاجتماعي للطلبة المعاقين من وجهة نظر معلميهم وأسرهم في محافظة الطائف، مستويات التوافق النفسي للطلبة المعاقين من وجهة نظر معلميهم وأسرهم في محافظة الطائف) تبعا لمتغيرات (الجنس، العمر)، حيث لم تصل قيم (t) إلى مستوى الدلالة الإحصائية (0.05).
