هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن الآثار النفسية لهجر القرآن الكريم على حياة الفرد المسلم وسبل علاجها، واتبع الباحث المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة اتبع الباحث المقابلة مع أهل الاختصاص، كأسلوب تحليل المحتوى من ناحية كيفية، كأحد تقنيات المنهج الوصفي، وتبلورت الدراسة حول الأسئلة التالية: ما مظاهر هجر القرآن الكريم؟ وما الآثار النفسية لهجر القرآن الكريم على حياة الفرد المسلم؟ وما الخطة العلاجية لمواجهة الآثار السلبية لهجر القرآن الكريم؟ وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن من أهم مظاهر هجر القرآن الكريم: القول فيه بغير الحق، والإعراض فيه واللغو عنه، وترك تلاوة القرآن بالكلية، ونسيان القرآن بعد حفظه، أما من أهم الآثار النفسية لهجره على حياة الفرد المسلم: قسوة القلب، وتغلب الشيطان وأعوانه من شياطين الجن والإنس، وحرمان الفرد المسلم من فضل التلاوة والتعبد بها، والحرمان من شفاعته له يوم القيامة، ولمواجهة الآثار النفسية لهجر القرآن الكريم أن يكون الفرد المسلم من أتباع القرآن الكريم؛ لأنه سبب نجاته، وخروجه من الضنك والضلال الذي يحياه، ولا يمكن للفرد المسلم أن يواجه قضايا عصره وزمانه؛ إلا بالقرآن الكريم، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى التوصيات التالية: أن القرآن المجيد أنزله الله تعالى على قلب نبيه محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم؛ لأّنه العضو الوحيد في الإنسان القادر على استقبال وتلقي "القول الثقيل" كما أنزله الله تبارك وتعالى، والقلب الذي يستقبل القرآن الكريم قلب لابد أن يستولى عليه الشعور بأّنه حين يقبل على القرآن إّنما يقترب من حضرة القدس، فالقرآن كلام الله تعالى فإن لم يشاهد حضرة القدس، ولم يسمع فإن الله منزل القرآن بسمعه ويراه. فعليك أن تدرك أّنه يسمعك إن أحسنت التلاوة فتلوت القرآن حق تلاوته، أو أسأت الترتيل؛ فإن رضي الله تعالى تلاوتك؛ طهرك، وهيأ قلبك لاستقبال نفحاته، وجعل بينك وبين الذين لا يؤمنون حجاباً مستوراً فلا يصلك أذاهم ولا ينال منك مكرهم. وطهرك تطهيراً.
