المستخلص: يشهد الواقع الإفريقي تنوعاً وتعدداً في الأديان والمعتقدات، وهو ما يضفي على دراسة الظاهرة الدينية أهمية خاصة لارتباطها بالتحولات السياسية والاجتماعية،عليه لم تشهد القارة قبل قدوم المسيحية أو الإسلام ما يمكن أن نسميه بظاهرة الحروب الدينية أو حركات الإحياء الديني.فإذا كان الإسلام هو أكثر الأديان انتشاراً في إفريقيا، فإنه في جوهره يُعد من أكثر الأديان ارتباطاً بالمجتمع الإفريقي.لذلك فإن دراسة ظاهرة الدعوة الإسلامية في إفريقيا من خلال الخطاب الإسلامي تشكل أحد التحديات التي تواجه القارة الإفريقية اليوم. فالقضية الأساسية اليوم تتمثل في كيف نتعامل مع خطاب التجديد الديني بهدف العودة بالعقيدة إلى مرحلة النقاء، ونشر الدعوة الإسلامية، فضلاً عن تأكيد قيم العدالة والمساواة.ولقد سعت بعض النخب الحاكمة في الدول الإفريقية بعد الاستقلال إلى محاولة تحييد المتغير الديني من خلال فرض دساتير علمانية تفصل بين الدين والدولة، إلا أن الوجود الإسلامي ظل هو الآخر السمة الغالبة لمتخضعللدعاية المغرضة من قبل الكتابات الأوروبية بل أضحى أكثر توافقاً مع الخصائص النفسية للإنسان الإفريقي. استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي والتحليلي للوقوف على قضايا الدعوة الإسلامية في إفريقيا.

The African reality is diverse and plural in respect to religions and beliefs and this is what provides the study of the religious phenomenon a particular importance due to its connection to political and social transformations. Before the arrival of Christianity or Islam, the African continent did not witness what we can call the phenomenon of religious wars or religious revival movements. If Islam was the most widespread of the religions in Africa, then in essence it is regarded to be of the most connected religions to the African society. As such, the study of the reality of Islamic propagation in Africa, via the Islamic discourse, represents one of the challenges which the African continent today faces. The main issue today is represented in how to deal with the religious renewal discourse which aims to restore the belief to the stage of purity and the spread of Islamic propagation, let alone the reaffirmation of the values of justice and equality. Some of the ruling factions in the African states, following independence, attempted to neutralize the religious variable by imposing secular constitutions which separated the religion from the state. However, the Islamic presence has remained the dominant mark for those subjected to the malicious propaganda produced in western writings. Indeed, it has become the most in conformity with the dispositional or psychological attributes of the African person. The researcher utilized the descriptive analytical approach to examine the issues related to Islamic propagation in Africa.
