استهدف البحث الكشف عن التجاذبات الإقليمية والدولية التي تفرضها ظروف المرحلة على المنطقة. وأوضح البحث حالة الفوضى والاحتقان التي تشهدها دول الربيع العربي، وعوامل فشل ثورات الربيع العربي في تحقيق أهدافها. ثم تطرق البحث إلى الأحداث الخطيرة التي تشهدها دول المنطقة من حرب أهلية وعمليات إرهابية وغيرها. وقدم البحث تقيماً للتجارب الديمقراطية الحديثة في العالم والمنطقة. وناقش البحث مدى تأثر الدول الخليجية بثورات الربيع العربي، وتداعيات الخلاف داخل مجلس التعاون الخليجي والمطالبة بسرعة احتوائه. كما ناقش البحث تصاعد الدور الإيراني في المنطقة العربية، وأسباب عداوة إيران للثورة السورية. وركز البحث على العوامل التي أضعفت من تأثير الثورة السوية وفعالياتها، وصعوبات المفاوضات السعودية الإيرانية المرتقبة. كما ركز البحث على تصاعد الدور الروسي على الساحتين العربية والأوروبية، ومحاولة الربط بين الأحداث في كل من أوكرانيا وسوريا. وأظهر البحث رغبة الولايات المتحدة في التمسك بعدم التصعيد مع روسيا واتجاهها للانكفاء طوعا عن التمدد العسكري في الخارج. وفي الختام أشار البحث إلى الاستحقاقات الانتخابية سواء التي تمت بالفعل على الساحة العربية أو تلك التي يتوقع إجراؤها في القريب.يركز هذا البحث على التجاذبات الإقليمية والدولية التي تفرضها ظروف المرحلة على المنطقة، ليس لأسباب داخلية تتعلق بتراكم مشاكلها السياسية والاقتصادية والأمنية، إنما ترجع لمبررات خارجية تتصل بتداخل بعض القضايا المتفجرة على الساحة العربية مع تطورات استراتيجية دولية. كُتب هذا المستخلص من قِبل دار المنظومة 2018
The research aimed at identifying the regional and the international tensions imposed by the phase conditions of the region. The research revealed the state of chaos and congestion witnessed by the Arab Spring countries. Moreover, it tackled the factors of failure of the Arab Spring revolutions in achieving their aims. The study then tackled the serious events that the countries of the region are witnessing of civil war, terrorist operations and others. The research provided an assessment of the recent democratic experiences in the world and the region. The study discussed the impact of the Gulf countries on the Arab spring revolutions and the repercussions of the dispute within the Gulf Cooperation Council and the need to the fast containment of this dispute. The study also discussed the escalation of the Iranian role in the Arab region and the reasons for the opposition of Iran to the Syrian revolution. The research focused on the factors that weakened the impact of the revolution and its activities, as well as the expected difficulties of the Saudi-Iranian negotiations. The research also focused on the promoting role of Russia on the Arab and the European arenas, and the trial to link the events in Ukraine and Syria. The research showed the US desire to hold on the non-escalation with Russia and its trends instead of the military expansion abroad. In conclusion, the research referred to the electoral benefits whether they have already taken place in the Arab arena or those that are expected to be held soon.
