This scientific study aims to diagnose the evolution of online journalism and the most important characteristics of the media and features, with reference to the most important problems encountered in the development in the Arab world and especially Algeria path. In addition to eating deployment and functions in the life of the individual and society and institutions indicators, while addressing the most important positive and negative repercussions on the printed press. Since there is a trend that sees the crisis in the paper newspapers currently in the global market caused by the development and spread of electronic newspapers, which may be a sign of the disappearance of the newspapers in the near future. But there are those who see reverse this trend perfectly sees in electronic journalism emergence of an important factor in the development of paper-based newspapers and increase the spread and persistence of survival, as the owners of this trend focuses on the idea that the history of the development of the means of communication and information has not been proven that the emergence of media outlets spent on the means by which appeared before years or centuries. This is what happened with paper newspapers, radio and TV, and after them, the international information network. The emergence of these methods contributed to a large size in the development of techniques and the contents of the traditional means of communication. The presence of electronic media in the lives of the newspapers could push the latter to the best development on the output and the implications that guide public opinion level, and the peculiarities of the printed press cannot be found via the electronic version. Through this scientific study will seek to show the nature of the relationship that online journalism journalism paper gathering in the future. Is it possible to have the technological development of the means of communication and information in the cause of the disappearance of the newspapers in the future. تهدف هذه الدراسة العلمية إلى تشخيص مراحل تطور الصحافة الإلكترونية وأهم خصائصها وسماتها الإعلامية، مع الإشارة إلى أهم المشكلات التي اعترضتها في مسار تطورها في الوطن العربي والجزائر خصوصًا. بالإضافة إلى تناول مؤشرات انتشارها ووظائفها في حياة الفرد والمجتمع والمؤسسات، مع تناول أهم انعكاساتها الإيجابية والسلبية على الصحافة الورقية، إذ هناك اتجاه يرى بأن الأزمة التي تمر بها الصحف الورقية حاليًا في السوق العالمية سببها تطور وانتشار الصحف الإلكترونية، وقد يكون ذلك مؤشر على اختفاء الصحف الورقية في المستقبل القريب. ولكن هناك من يرى عكس هذا الاتجاه تمامًا فيرى في ظهور الصحافة الإلكترونية عاملًا مهمًّا في تطور الصحف الورقية وزيادة انتشارها واستمرار بقائها، إذ يركز أصحاب هذا الاتجاه على الفكرة القائلة بأن تاريخ تطور وسائل الاتصال والإعلام لم يثبت بأن ظهور وسيلة إعلامية قضى على الوسيلة التي ظهرت قبلها بسنوات أو قرون. وهذا ما حصل مع الصحف الورقية والإذاعة تم التلفزيون وبعدهم شبكة المعلومات الدولية، فظهور هذه الوسائل ساهم بحجم كبير في تطوير تقنيات ومحتويات وسائل الاتصال التقليدية، فوجود الصحافة الإلكترونية في حياة الصحف الورقية قد يدفع هذه الأخيرة إلى التطور أحسن على مستوى الإخراج والمضامين التي توجه للرأي العام، كما أن خصوصيات الصحافة الورقية لا يمكن أن تجدها عبر النسخة الإلكترونية، ومن خلال هذه الدراسة العلمية سوف نسعى إلى عرض طبيعة العلاقة التي تجمع الصحافة الإلكترونية بالصحافة الورقية في المستقبل. وهل ممكن أن يكون التطور التكنولوجي لوسائل الاتصال والإعلام سببًا في اختفاء الصحف الورقية مستقبلًا. أم أن الصحف الورقية سوف تشهد تطورًا كبيرًا مستقبلًا مما يجعل منها وسيلة إعلامية لها دورًا كبيرًا في مختلف مجالات الحياة، رغم التطور الكبير الذي شهدته الصحافة الإلكترونية على مستوى الشكل والمضمون، إذ فتحت المجال بشكل كبير أمام المتصفح أو المتلقي الذي أصبح عنصرًا نشيطًا في العملية الإعلامية من خلال تفاعله مع ما يقدم من أخبار وأحداث يومية عبر المواقع التواصل الاجتماعي وغيرها من الروابط التفاعلية التي جعلت من الصحافة الإلكترونية فضاءً لتبادل الأفكار والرؤى.
