This study addresses the definition of sources of information, both paper and electronic, and indicates the most important types of sources of information in libraries and information centers and the extent of benefit from them in agricultural development. In the preparation of this study on a number of methods of scientific research, integrated in the elucidation of the facts and based on primary and secondary sources, use the historical method in the theoretical framework, the survey method in the case study on the status of documentation and information. Also relied on the statistical method in the analysis of data and information obtained through the questionnaire that the researcher distributed to the beneficiaries. Researcher focused his studies on the status of documentation and information explaining the sources of information it contains, and the extent of benefit recipients and researchers from these sources in the development of their research, achieving agricultural development in all parts of the country. The researcher found, during the study, said that documentation and information center under study is by a considerable number of sources of information, we find that the library by the side of the paper contains a large number of books, periodicals and reference is rich in agricultural sciences, as well as there is in the Department of Information Services databases a local special rules for intellectual production Sudanese in all areas, particularly agricultural science, and there are global databases available on the World Wide Web represented in databases such as the agricultural base wages, in addition to a CD-ROM services and Internet service. There is no doubt that all these various sources of information to help in the promotion of agriculture and the development of inputs and through research and field studies. Researcher concluded that the Information and Documentation Centre is one of the fundamental pillars in the promotion of agricultural development to have the balance of my knowledge varied represented in the sources of information paper and electronic, available to users and researchers inside and outside the country, has been found by the researcher that the provision for sources of information on natural water inlet, provision is made little does not meet the procurement process for all sources of information. It was the most important results of the study reached the growing role played by the Centre for Documentation and information in the service of research and promote agricultural development through sources of information. And that of the most prominent recommendations reached by the study need to keep pace with the ongoing modernization in the CDs and the ability to allocate a budget for the process of supply to purchase the latest books and scientific references. \
