المستخلص: The Egyptian women live in a period that enables her to freely obtain almost all of her rights such as education and employment. In addition, the current atmosphere encourages her to be actively engaged in social, economic, and political activities. It is therefore vitally important to utilize their capabilities, as being the half of the population, to contribute in the development and progress of the society. The efforts conducted by different international bodies and particularly those interested in women affairs have significantly helped in making the gender topic a priority issue with the programs of most designated conferences at all levels; domestically, regionally, and internationally. As a result, there is an increasing emphasize on the importance of the gender topic as part of the national statistics. As such, data disaggregated by gender are mandatory to monitor the progress towards achieving gender equality, inclusion, and empowerment and accordingly taking the appropriate measures to help improve the current situation in a move on the right track to make the society more reflective to the gender at all levels of the society
