يعد مفهوم العولمة من المفاهيم المعاصرة التى استطاعت أن تفرض نفسها بقوة على الساحة الدولية سياسياً واقتصادياً وثقافياً واجتماعياً، كما أصبحت الشغل الشاغل للعديد من المفكرين والباحثين فى مختلف المجالات والميادين. وقد تعددت الجوانب التى نظر إليها الباحثون لهذا المفهوم ما بين التركيز على الجانب الاقتصادى، أوالاجتماعى، أو السياسى، أو الثقافى. وكما تنوعت الجوانب التى ركز عليها الباحثون فى تناولهم لمفهوم العولمة، تنوعت أيضا آراؤهم ما بين التأييد والرفض لها. وأيا ما كانت وجهة نظر المفكرين والباحثين فإن الأمر الذى لا خلاف فيه أن العولمة أصبحت واقعا معيشا يفرض العديد من التحديات على العالم العربى. من هنا فإن بناء العقلية العربية أصبح أمرا حتميا لمواجهة تلك التحديات. ويقع على التعليم ومؤسساته دور كبير فى بناء تلك العقلية. وعلى رأس هذه المؤسسات يأتى الدور الهام للمدرسة فى بناء تلك العقلية. لذا فقد هدفت الدراسة إلى الوقوف على أهم هذه الأدوار، وفى سبيل ذلك استخدمت المنهج الوصفى التحليلى وذلك للوقوف على تحديات العولمة وأهم ملامح العقلية العربية. وقد أوضحت الدراسة أن هذه التحديات تمثلت فى التحديات الاقتصاية، والاجتماعية والثقافية، والتكنولوجية. كما استعرضت الدراسة أهم ملامح العقلية العربية، وقد اتضح من خلال ذلك أن العقلية العربية غير قادرة على مواكبة تحديات العولمة. وقد عرضت الدراسة فى نهايتها الدور الذى يمكن أن تقوم به المدرسة فى بناء العقلية العربية. وقد تمثل هذه الدور فيما يلى: 4- دور المدرسة فى بناء العقلية الناقدة المتجددة. ويشمل ذلك: أ- دور المدرسة فى تنمية ثقافة الحوار بين جميع العاملين بالمدرسة. ب- دور المدرسة فى بناء العقلية المنفتحة على الثقافات الأخرى بوعى، والقادرة على مواجهة التغريب. 5- دور المدرسة فى بناء العقلية العلمية المنتجة للمعرفة. 6- دور المدرسة فى بناء العقلية المبدعة.
The concept of globalization is consider one of the contemporary concepts that have been able to impose itself strongly in the international arena, politically, economically, culturally and socially, and it has also become a major concern for many of the thinkers and researchers in various areas and fields. Were numerous aspects considered by the researchers of this concept between a focus on the economic side, or social , or political, or cultural. as varied aspects highlighted by the researchers in the treating of the concept of globalization, also varied in their opinions between support and rejection of it. Whatever the viewpoint thinkers and researchers ,There is no doubt that the globalization has become a reality, and poses many challenges to the Arab world. From here, the construction of the Arab mentality has become inevitable to meet those challenges.The education and its institutions played a major role in the construction of that mentality. The school comes on top of these institutions ,It plays important role of the in the construction of that mentality. So the study aimed to identifying the most important of these roles, So it used the descriptive analytical method in order to determine the challenges of globalization and the most important features of the Arab mentality. Study has shown that these challenges was to challenge economic prospects, and social, cultural, and technological. Also study showed the main features of mental Arabic, has been shown through it that the Arab mentality is unable to keep up with the challenges of globalization. The study presented at the end of it ,the role that can be played by the school in construction the Arab mentality: 1- The role of school in construction mental critical renewable This includes: A- The school's role in the development the culture of dialogue among all school staff B- The role of the school in building open mind to the other cultures with awareness , and able to face Westernization. 2- The role of school in construction the mentalscientific, that producing knowledge 3- The role of school in construction a mental creative.
