المستخلص: This paper consists of two parts: the first one presents a brief overview of the oral redundant linguistic forms among the Saudis, offers examples of such forms from different regions within Saudi Arabia, explains the links between these linguistic forms and the environment as well as the social status, and verifies their cultural significance in the society. The second part deals with the changes that occurred in using these redundant linguistic forms with emphasis on the religious influence that may have caused some changes in either use or nature of the Forms. These religious elements have dominated the linguistic forms causing the tribal, regional, and social linguistic differences to partially disappear in some respects. The function of these religious forms is studied to explain their role in making the communications work or fail. Furthermore, this essay will also study the folkloric and pragmatic elements of the forms along with their role in indicating the person's cognitive persuasion.
